Week in READview

On & Off the Blog:

Last few weeks have been crazy! 8 inches of snow, a cheer comp in Orlando (husband went, I stayed home) and a busy few weeks at work.

Here are a few bullets points of how the last few weeks have gone

  • This weekend I tried making my mom’s beef soup. It came out really good but I think I might have done something wrong. It tasted like hers but was a little more oily then I would have liked it to be. So next time I think I need to cut back on some of the beef and soup bones and see if that makes it less oily.
  • In two weeks my daughter and husband go away again to Texas for a cheer comp. I will be home watching it on TV. This will be out last year of cheer so I am a little sad but also not so much since my wallet will be very happy.
  • My daughter got accepted to her first choice of college, we will be doing for Marine Biology and Coastal Sciences. I can’t believe both of my kids will be out of school. (my son is in a transition school). By the summer it will be a full house. Looking foward to this new chapter in life and the change it will bring.
  • They both need to get jobs! 🙂
  • My son turned 21 on Tuesday. Spent the last few days trying to find him a drink he would like. Finally found a lemonade with vodka.
  • Reading is still going slow but I am enjoying Dungeon Crawler Carl, it’s actually very interested. I am really enjoying it.
  • Found a new place to buy candle melts, they small amazing BelleandHappy.
  • While I am at it these candles are amazing too. Spill the Tea
  • The half time show at the super bowl was amazing and I haven’t stopped “singing” I’ve watching it at least 4 times.
  • Trying to get a Real ID shouldn’t be this hard.
  • If I owe you any design stuff, please send me an email so we can work on it and or figure out if you still are in need.

  1. A huge congratulations to your daughter! My middle two are back home now having graduated with their Bachelors but are now both doing their Masters online, they need jobs too! I only drink vodka too though I prefer it with lemon squash. My youngest (who is 20 but 18 is legal here) is the only one who drinks regularly, The only drink my oldest son likes is Cider.

Wishing you a happy reading week
