Books:

Reading:

Being sick I didn’t have a lot of time to read and I had a few other things come up but I am looking forward to spending some time today reading. I am pretty sure I will have this finished before the end of the week.

What I grabbed:

I may have gotten a few books this week….oops…

I already have the first book in physical format for the Falconer Trilogy but I saw them all on Amazon Kindle Deals for .99 and had to grab them.
You can find them here but I am not sure if they are still on sale.

I was so excited to get the last book in the Potions Masters series. This is one of my favorites and will be reading it for a blog tour next year. (which is two months away, WHAT)

I may have shared the first 3 of these books but the rest of the series came out and I got them all. I love her writing and I can not wait to binge read this series. I just love looking at them all together so I figured why not share them again! My set is complete! Maybe sometimes she likes to surprise us with another book. She did that for the Royally Screwed series which I LOVE.

I also got my Owlcrate books but I will share both next Sunday since they are still being sent out.

What you missed:

What you might see this week:

  • I was planning to work on stuff on Saturday but my blog was down for quite a while so I am hoping to do some stuff today.

Week in READview:

Real life & Blogging:

So last Sunday I said was sick, well on Monday I wanted to cry every time I swallowed so I went to the doctor. I had a viral infection and was on antibiotics and basically slept when I got home. I got a text on Monday asking if I wanted to chaperone my daughters dance, I asked my daughter and she was fine with it so on Wednesday I helped out. The kids had a great time all dressed up, my daughter wore a halloween shirt since we didn’t have her costume yet. Saturday we got my daughters costume and my daughter had a super late game. Thankfully tomorrow we have a full day to get some stuff done. I am planning to do some blogging, design and then spend the rest of the night building houses in the sims. My blog was down today for quite a while so I wasn’t able to do any work. By the time it was fixed I had to get ready to leave for my daughters game.

What I am watching/podcasts:

So I recently found out that the show Murder made me Famous was a podcast so I started listening to them. I can’t watch them since no streaming channel I have has it and if I want it I need to pay. I am not paying for it. I also found another murder podcast that I am enjoying as well. It is a half paranormal and half true crime and I am too lazy to look up the name. 🙂

I watched  a few things this week also. On Friday I binge watched the Confession tapes of Ted Bundy and then watched The Last Kids on Earth which is based on the book. I read the book so seeing it was so cute. I can’t wait for them to release the rest of the books. I binge watched some more Criminal Minds since for some reason instead of horror I want to watch murder….same thing really.

Just for Fun:

  1. Sorry you were sick but glad you take the time to rest and went to the doctor. How fun that you chaperoned the dance! Sounds like your daughter had a good time and you were feeling well enough to do it. Enjoy your new reads and have a great week!

  2. I had no idea the blog was down, and I’ve been on here every day. I must have good timing or something! I hope you’re feeling much better now 🙂

Gah, how is Julia old enough that she’s having dances for you to chaperone? I realize I haven’t known y’all THAT LONG, but it still seems like she’s grown up so much these past few years!

Have a great week my friend, maybe we can find some time to chat? Happy house building 😉

  3. I’m not sure if I have ever read anything by Madison Faye, but that series looks pretty smokin’ that I might just have to check it out. Ha!
Thank for including information about the #HoHoHoRAT. If I can throw together a TBR for it quickly, I may just participate!
    Happy Reading!

  4. Hope you feel better Michelle! I was the same way a couple weeks ago when I got bronchitis- it started with a sore throat and it was so bad every time I swallowed it felt like swallowing glass. Ugh it it was terrible. I hope you’re on the mend! 🙂

The Elizabeth May books look great!

“Nobody asked you” haha. So true…

  5. Well Michelle I really hope that next week will be easier for you! Being sick sucks especially when you are a mom because you never are out of duty!
