Each month you will make a post with three books from your TBR List (these books can be already on your kindle or shelf or books you might want to purchase) and add your link on the linky that will be provided on my post. Your followers and the people on the linky will help you choose which book you will read next. The following Saturday you will announce the book that won. Then read the book and on the last Saturday of the month post a review.

I’m still picking books at the top of my #2017hw list, which means two of these are books you’ve already seen before and I’m just adding in a third new one 🙂

“They say I’m half a demon, but I like to think of myself as half human, especially as the demons want me dead.” Charlie Henderson is living a lie. Her real name is Muse and her attempt at a normal life is about to go up in smoke.  When a half-demon assassin walks into her life, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake, Muse must return to the one man she hoped never to see again and ask for help. The Prince of Greed isn’t known for his charity. The price is high and the cost could tear her apart. Trapped between the malevolent intentions of a Prince of Hell, a bounty-hunter with ulterior motives and all of demon-kind, Muse must embrace the lure of chaos at her core; the demon inside her, in order to survive.

If your ex is the Prince of Greed, you’d better be ready to raise hell.

This was ALMOST the winner last month! Let’s see how it fare this month 🙂

A Devilish Duke on a Quest for Pleasure...

Frannie Darling was once a child of London's roughest streets, surrounded by petty thieves, pickpockets, and worse. But though she survived this harsh upbringing to become a woman of incomparable beauty, Frannie wants nothing to do with the men who lust for her, the rogues who frequent the gaming hall where she works. She can take care of herself and feels perfectly safe on her own—safe, that is, until he strides into her world, and once again it becomes a very dangerous place indeed.

To bed her but not wed her. That's what Sterling Mabry, the eighth Duke of Greystone, wants. But Frannie abhors arrogant aristocrats interested only in their own pleasure. So why then does the thought of an illicit tryst with the devilish duke leave her trembling with desire? Her willing body begs for release... and a wicked, wonderful surrender.

I know this author personally – she’s in my book club – and I’ve NEVER read her. And she wins awards all the time at RT, so I know she’s damn good. This is book 3, which I usually wouldn’t do, but it’s the only one I have and I’ve been told it works as a standalone.

Catalia "Cat" Fisa is a powerful clairvoyant known as the Kingmaker. This smart-mouthed soothsayer has no interest in her powers and would much rather fly under the radar, far from the clutches of her homicidal mother. But when an ambitious warlord captures her, she may not have a choice…

But Cat will do everything in her power to avoid her dangerous destiny and battle her captor at every turn. • I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Thanks for voting, I have a feeling this is going to be a tight one!

  1. The decision was a really difficult one. They all sound so good and you really should read LHeath if you actually know her. 😉 But in the end, I went with A Promise of Fire. 😛

  2. A tough choice this week, Berls! I went with A Promise of Fire because that’s on my TBR stack already, but you’re tempting me with Beyond the Veil. That one sounds like another one I would like. I hope you enjoy whichever one wins.
