Blog Ahead Goal Post #BlogAhead2015

Posted September 25, 2015 by Michelle in Blog Ahead / 11 Comments

Oct+2015+Blog+Ahead+GraphicThis is a great event and really helps you get ahead on those posts to give you more time to do more reading or setting up those new ideas you have.

On October 1st take your number of scheduled posts and add 31.
Whatever that number is…that’s your goal for the month.
You’ll end the day on Oct 31st with that many scheduled posts.
Example- If you start October with 5 scheduled posts you end Oct with 36 scheduled posts.
Wanna sign up? You can HERE
I attempted this event last year but because it was in November I was behind on my November posts and was unable to really do anything. I am rather excited about it being in October since I have a bunch of posts to do for November and December.

Posts list:

This is a list of all the posts that I would like to accomplish during this event. If I end the month with half finished and half drafted I will be over the moon, it will give me one hell of a jump ahead.

  • Month of Giving Thanks Posts ~ 8 Posts
  • Out with the Old in with the New Posts ~ 12 Posts ~ 9 Post to complete, 3 Posts to draft
  • 5 App Reviews
  • 9 random posts
    • Fun Facts
    • Books before the blog
    • My TBR list posts.

I can’t promise I can get it all done but I sure as hell will try πŸ™‚

I will be updating this post each week and republishing it so check back for my progress. I might even add more stuff in when I think of it πŸ™‚

  1. That sounds like an awesome plan! I’m a big believer in even if you end only one post ahead of where you started the month it was a success πŸ˜€ Any buffer is a good thing πŸ™‚

Best of luck tackling your list this coming month, Michelle!

  2. WOW, you actually have specific goals! I don’t have that at all, I just want to try to get a bigger buffer in my scheduled posts – both reviews and memes. And if I can think of a discussion post or two, I’ll do that as well πŸ™‚
I’m so happy you’re participating as well, Michelle!

    • I have a lot to do for the end of the year and if I don’t make it specific I will never do it, ya know!
I am glad you are joining too. I didn’t do so good last year with this so I hope to get a good jump ahead even if it’s only 5 or 10 posts

  3. This sounds great but I am currently trying to blog ahead in October to get all my stuff for it…I don’t have time to blog ahead for November yet…lol. πŸ™‚ Good luck!

  4. Nice goal list! I sure hope you get a lot of those done. Lots of great posts you have planned πŸ™‚

I hope to get some of my end of the year Lola’s Ramblings posts written, some Lola’s Kitchen posts for december and hopefully some reviews if I can stay ahead with those. Blog Ahead helped me a lot last year, not sure if I will do as well as last year, but an extra boast would be nice.

    • Thank you πŸ™‚ I think I thought of a few more I want to add but I will wait to see how this list goes first.

I did awful last year because I had to much to do in November that I wasn’t able to do anything else. I am hoping to get a lot done and at this point I wouldn’t mind even drafting a bunch of stuff just to have them ready. (wish that was part of the challenge)
