Welcome to Task It Tuesday! created by the Awesome The Geeky Blogger
Hosted by Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!
What is Task It Tuesday? Every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life.

Last week I mentioned debating whether I wanted to get a new planner or stick with my old one. Well, I caved and bought myself a Erin Condren Planner. I am not 100% sure I will like it and I am going to miss my old planner but I wanted to try it out and see. Maybe in 2018 I can go back to my old planner and incorporate what I did in that planner. I just need something that will make me a little more organized because honestly as much as I love my planner it isn’t really helping me keep up with what I need or am suppose to do. I didn’t get it yet but I will show you all next week. I am super excited about getting it, should be fun to set up.
Still have a lot of blogging stuff to accomplish, so I need to get some drafts done and my reviews scheduled.
I added a new area for Upcoming organizing events. This is for events such as Bloggiesta or Blog Ahead. These are some of my favorite events that help get you organized and your blog filled with posts and organizing. If you know of any others please feel free to let me know in the comments and I will add them to the list as well.
Task It Tuesday will go through a few changes over the next few month, keeping with the same idea as what Felicia had originally intended but with a few new things. I know not a lot of people participate but the linky will always be here for when you are ready to get those Tasks complete. I am hoping the changes will get more people to want to participate since I am a lover of Organizing and a complete Planner addict.
Upcoming Events:
- Blog Ahead hosted by Herding Cats and Burning Soup event is scheduled for the month of October.
- (taken from website)
This challenge it’s all about getting ahead and giving yourself a blogging buffer. It’s amazing how much having extra scheduled posts can make during emergencies, vacations or just when dealing plain ol’ blogging slumps. It can really cut the stress during every day blogging as well 🙂 And what better way to get ahead than with the support of other bloggers?

- Bloggiesta ~ Fall Bloggiesta: September 15-18 ~ Sign up isn’t posted yet but check out the website to keep up with when it goes live and offer some help if you are available that weekend. New Blogger? This is a great event to join to help get the most out of blogging.

Are you ready to get organized?
I’m going to sign up for Blog Ahead, too. As for organizing, even looking at your To-Do list leaves me feeling discouraged. I’m not in a blogging slump, I’m in an EVERYTHING slump. I can’t seem to stay focused or get anything done, and I get distracted so eas—SQUIRREL! (See what I mean?)
I hope your new planner works really well for you. I’ve been doing a sort of modified bullet journal, because I got tired of carrying around a planner and a notebook for jotting notes, writing reviews, etc. So I combined them into one. It works pretty well when I stay focused; I just haven’t managed to stay focused since I got home from vacation. But I keep hoping tomorrow will be better. 🙂
You want to come and organize me…lol I am going to sign up for blog ahead, etc. but I swear every time I do I never seem to have time to do anything…lol. 🙂
I’m better at bloggiesta than blog ahead only because I’m better at pre-drafting than pre-scheduling lol
I love how you’re putting evens on here – that dull help me a lot. I really should participate as a to do list would be a great starting point for me. Lol! Good luck with your tasks!
I wish I could find more, might have to start making my own 😉 it really helps me know what I need to do and is great motivation.
I aspire to be as organized as you! 😉 I’m going to have to sign up for Blog Ahead though. I love having so many posts pre-scheduled. Such a stress-reliever. 😉
I might look more organized than I really am 😉 I need to make all my sign up posts this weekend so I can be ready. It really is a huge stress-reliever!!!
A Girl at work got the Erin Condren. It sure is pretty. I am more of a task orientated planner addict so it wouldn’t work for me but I do lurve the look 🙂
The only I bought I think will organize my day better and get me to set tasks each day. I have plans for it 🙂 I will post it when I get it. I’m hoping it comes by Thursday.
I hope your new planner will work great. I don’t have a lanner and keep most things in my head or in my calendar, sometimes I write a small to do list on a small note. It works for me so far.
I like your idea of listing an upcoming events section in these posts. I already signed-up for Blog Ahead. Even though I usually don’t get the full 30 posts done, it’s still great to see how far I can get and every extra post written is great!
Every time you list design work I am wondering if there’s work for me on the list. I am pretty sure the blog tour banner is the banner for me this time, lol.
How did that giveaway you submitted a design work things for go? Was it a success? I might participate next year.
My old age I can’t remember anything anymore lol. I’m kidding. Lots of appointments and to-dos I need a specific schedule or nothing gets done 🙂 I write LOTS of notes too.
This banner just so happens to be you!
The giveaway was great, got a lot of people and I picked my two winners. I will for sure do again, it gets my name out so I hope it helps.
