- what did you like/dislike about the hero?
- Michelle: This was a big no. He was a super creep and would keep guys away from her because he needed to get his shit together. It was possessive but not in a cute way.
- Berls: Ok he’s a stalker and unlike the stalker book last week (yeah, that’s a theme apparently) this did not come off sweet and protective. It bothered me a lot because he spent 2 years – TWO YEARS – keeping her from relationships.
- what did you like/dislike about the heroine?
- Michelle: She seemed like girl just trying to make it and find someone but dip-shit was keeping her from it.
- Berls: Didn’t really get to know her, honestly. I feel like this book was about him and his obsession and she just fit into it.
- how would you rate the romance/steam factor?
- Michelle: I didn’t get that far, as soon as he said he knew she was on the pill and where her room was, I closed the book.
- Berls: Another virgin sex story, which I was over before I started reading this series and now I’m really over. What’s with the bath after the cherry pop?
- overall rating and why?
- Michelle: DNF…This was a no this was beyond stalker.
- Berls: I gave it 2 stars because I liked it enough to keep reading (unlike Michelle), but I wasn’t into this one at all.

- what did you like/dislike about the hero?
- Michelle: I loved him, he was a super sweet older gentleman and I loved how he cared about Alexis.
- Berls: This is another taboo, much older guy relationship and I’m a sucker for those. Nick is wealthy (of course) and I liked that he seemed to genuinely care about Alexis.
- what did you like/dislike about the heroine?
- Michelle: She was a bit forceful but also knew what she wanted. I like how she was just as experienced and could handle herself.
- Berls: She doesn’t seem immature as sometimes happens with these age gap books – she’s a grown ass women and NOT a virgin (THANK YOU!). She is funny and sassy.
- how would you rate the romance/steam factor?
- Michelle: Very steamy, This was a cute relationship and I liked how sweet they were.
- Berls: This one was sizzling for me. They had a healthy, respectful relationship actually. I could read a lot more of them.
- overall rating and why?
- Michelle: I gave this 4 stars, it was a super cute story. I think it would make a great full length novel, just to get a little more backstory and a more involved love story.
- Berls: I gave it 5 stars because I really loved everything about it. There’s a much deeper story going on, with Alexis’s mother having passed away a few years ago. Her father and Nick are good friends and all the relationship layers made it really engaging.

- what did you like/dislike about the hero?
- Michelle: He was soooooo cute. I thought Kane was just the sweetest, especially when he helped her with her car.
- Berls: He was super sweet and sexy all in one. The way he played Santa for the kids melted my heart I think.
- what did you like/dislike about the heroine?
- Michelle: I liked her and totally understood how she would feel a little weird about having feelings for her step-brother that she just meet. But girl you just meet, I say go for it.
- Berls: I liked her pretty well, and she seemed sweet with her dream of illustrating /writing kids books too.
- how would you rate the romance/steam factor?
- Michelle: It was super steamy, while I am not a fan of bath tub sex, I still enjoyed the spice between them.
- Berls: I have to second Michelle on the bathtub sex lol! But it was steamy-ish. I don’t see it as taboo at all. Your parents met when your adults, and step siblings only counts when raised as siblings!
- overall rating and why?
- Michelle: I gave it 4 stars. I just loved Winter and Kane and I loved how the whole story wrapped up. Another one I would love a full novel about.
- Berls: I gave it 4 stars as well. The parent’s story line was kind of distracting for me, but otherwise I liked it.

- Berls: well there were a few of them and I didn’t like any of them by time I quit.
- what did you like/dislike about the heroine?
- Michelle: Never meet her
- Berls: lol! I met her and she had potential. She wanted to help orphan kids so that’s a plus. But when she was ready to fuck – sorry it’s the only appropriate word – a stranger in an alley while the orphans wait… I was out.
- how would you rate the romance/steam factor?
- Michelle: Don’t know!
- Berls: it didn’t make sense and was kinda eww. I hung on longer than Michelle, curious about the menage a trois, but I didn’t make it to find out.
- overall rating and why?
- Michelle: This was a DNF. The Italian Stereotype language was killing me. Like full on Jersey Shore Guido and I was OUT. I even was doing the Jersey Guido accent in my head. I couldn’t stop cringing. I left before it even started.
- Berls: I didn’t pick up on the language at all, but the story line didn’t make sense when I quit… About 35% I think.

- what did you like/dislike about the hero?
- Michelle: He was super sweet. He really was just a nice guy. His name sucked, Dougal…ew!
- Berls: lol both their names were weird. But I liked him a lot and the way he made a point (even as the hero of an erotic novella) to not jump into bed too fast. But why does he look like an aging biker with an painted beard on the cover?! He was hot and that cover is not.
- what did you like/dislike about the heroine?
- Michelle: Her submissiveness was driving me crazy, like girl stand up for what you want. I did like her, she was like a sweet and super nice girl that everyone walked on. It was good to see her grow and take control.
- Berls: omg yes! At one point she says she didn’t want to cum because she wanted to be perfect for him. Eww. But I liked her, and I especially when she put her foot down with her twin.
- how would you rate the romance/steam factor?
- Michelle: Tension was good, sex read a little immature, not sure why I was getting Fifty Shades of grey vibes with her Oh My and So goods but it was suppose to be dominant and I was getting sweet. I enjoyed it but wish it was a little more spicy.
- Berls: you’re right on the money with the 50 shades. It had a wanna be BDSM feel. But I liked their chemistry.
- overall rating and why?
- Michelle: 4 stars for me, I love how sweet the story was and how much Christmas was involved. His name still sucks but I thought it was a really sweet story with a cute end.
- Berls: 4 stars here as well. After the dnf, I it read fast and much better for me. There was only 1 sex scene, wow!
Which novella was your favorite this week? why?
- Michelle: This week I am going with Santa Claus is Coming. I just liked how cute Dougal (yuck) was and I loved that this was really centered around Christmas.
- Berls: For me it was Santa’s Dirty Secret. I could read a full length book with these characters and really enjoy it. There was a real story there and an actual honest to God healthy Silver Fox Romance.
Books 7 and 8 sound amazing! I’ll definitely be checking these out. It’s so cool about releasing novellas every day. Thank you for the recs!
