One of my favorite things as a kid was to get money to get books (it still is). For some reason when I was a kid my family never really got me books for Christmas, I do get them now. There have read some amazing Middle Grade books over the years and I thought what a great gift to give a young kid that loves to escape into a book.
If you are a parent, grandparent, aunt or whatever to a little bookwork, I have a few suggestions of books that your Middle Graders would love. For me Middle Grade is between the ages of 8 and 12, I would even think, kids 13 to 15 would enjoy some of these. Honestly, adults would love them too ;D
The Last Kids on Earth is a really cute series and it is also a show on Netflix, the book has humor in it and just a cute friendship between the kids.
Bodyguard might be a book for older middle grade kids but wow, does it pack a lot of action, this series, is about young kids that are made to be famous peoples bodyguards and I love that it has a recap of the last book at the beginning of each book
Small Space is a little scary but so good, this is also a series, I haven’t read the other two books but this book was one of my favorites.
Hook’s Revenge is a great story about Captain Hooks Daughter. She is a feisty girl and this would be a great duo for young kids to enjoy. It is quite the silly fun adventure.
The Hero’s Guide to Saving the Kingdom might be one of the best books on the planet, HILARIOUS! Great for all ages and I laughed so hard during this series, snorted a few times too.
Serafina and the Black Cloak is a great start to this amazing series about a young strong willed girl that finds who she really is. Awesome series to get for kids of all ages.
[divide]I have a ton of books that I want to recommend but these are some that I haven’t really showcased before. However The Heros Guide will be a whole post at some point because that series is AMAZING!!!
Thanks for stopping by and Have a great Day!
Happy Reading! xx

The bodyguard one is intriguing. I don’t actually have my middle grade age kiddos around right now but I’m sure I will again before I know it.
Some of these I haven’t tried and I need to put on my list. 🙂
