This is going to be short and sweet. The book was confusing, I wasn’t sure what was going on and I was getting frustrated by how much I wasn’t understanding but this is because I was probably totally unfocused since I had just lost my job. I feel like instead of doing a full DNF, I am going to put the book aside and try again at another time. I have heard such awesome things about this series and I really don’t want to be that person that didn’t like it, lol. So I will try again another time maybe when I am in a better mindset and need to find something to read.

Always wanted to try this one, so that is a bummer you didn’t like it. Hope you try it again and like it but then it’s okay to be that one that doesn’t like it. 😉
I enjoyed this one and the whole series but it is complicated. I hope you will give it a chance later but some things just don’t work for some. I find with fantasy I sometimes do better on audio.
Yeah, I’ve got a DNF category on GR, but it is both a ‘never’ and a ‘maybe later’ shelf for when I’m in the right mood for the book. This is a series I want to read eventually.
