Task it TuesdayWelcome to Task It Tuesday! created by the Awesome The Geeky Blogger

Hosted by Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!

What is Task It Tuesday? Every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life.

This weekend I worked on a lot of stuff, this week I have a few posts to set up for upcoming events. I also want to do a bit of brainstorming this week also to prepare for the end of the year and new ideas to introduce in 2017.

The fall will bring lots of changes around the house since I want to give it a minor update. I hate how my living room is laid out and need some new furniture. I am hoping I can get a chance to do all of that before the holidays. Plus the kids rooms need to be condensed a lot since they have lot of stuff they don’t play with anymore and it’s not just considered clutter. One day I will tackle the basement but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. 🙂

I got my new planner, I am super excited and spent most if Sunday setting it up and filling it in. I am very happy with it so far and will start planning out the weeks when I can figure out what I want to do first. This just might be what I need to get myself super organized and able to get a lot more done and feel a lot less stressed. The other book was great but listing everything I had to do became overwhelming. This has separate areas that I can fill in each day with tasks I wish to do. I feel like having it more organized like that will help me accomplish them better. I want to do a post about planners but I am still in the thinking process of how to do that but I have ideas 🙂 Here is a look at what my planner looks like…

The planner didn’t have a lot of pockets so I added the ones I had from my old planner into this using the little connectors. I also took out July and August of this year since I wont be using them. It gave the planner a little more room to accommodate my pockets. Since Menu planning is a big things for me this year to try and save money on groceries. I had the guy at work make me a little book to write down all my meal planning and list. I also have one in the planner that will list what I make for dinner each day. This helps a lot with not being stressed about what to make. I am very excited about it. I can’t wait to start filling it in more and really getting back to be organized.

Upcoming Events:

  •   Blog Ahead hosted by Herding Cats and Burning Soup event is scheduled for the month of October.

  1. Exciting on the house projects! I’m doing that here as well. Makes it crazy for a while but will be so nice when done, right?

Love the planner! It’s so important to have one that works for you. I use a customizable one from Staples and it’s been really helpful. Hope you have a good time diving into everything 🙂
