Welcome to Task It Tuesday! created by the Awesome The Geeky Blogger
Hosted by Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!
What is Task It Tuesday? It is where every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life. I will also be sharing organizing tips and linking with posts from bloggers that have some great tips and tricks for keeping you and your blog/real life organized.
This week was a little more difficult with doing stuff than I expected but overall I still got a lot finished. Somethings I wasn’t able to get too but that is ok since I had a few things I had to do that wasn’t on the list. So I did good. I am still loving the layout of my planner and think this is exactly what I need to get myself organized. Next week will be a little crazy since the day I will be taking off is Saturday instead of Wednesday since it’s the 24 Hour Read-a-thon. I plan to read all day and do nothing else so during the week I need to get a bunch of stuff completed so I can have the day to read.
At the moment I have 20 posts drafted and 13 posts scheduled. I couldn’t be happier. I need to get more posts finished for November and I don’t think I will have any issues doing that. I want to spend most of this week getting those 20 drafted posts, finished and scheduled. Haven’t felt this good in a long time when it comes to blogging. It’s so refreshing to finally be officially 100% back.

This challenge it’s all about getting ahead and giving yourself a blogging buffer. It’s amazing how much having extra scheduled posts can make during emergencies, vacations or just when dealing plain ol’ blogging slumps. It can really cut the stress during every day blogging as well 🙂 And what better way to get ahead than with the support of other bloggers?
- Write On Review-a-thon hosted by Book Bumblings this is a monthly event
- (taken from website)
How’s your TBR list? No, not that one. I’m talking about “to be reviewed.”
And your NetGalley ratio? How close are you to the coveted 80%?
Or do you have a busy week and need to get ahead on your editorial calendar?
If you answered “blergh,” “gah,” or anything with a curse to one of the above scenarios, the Write On Review-a-Thon is for you.

- 24 Hour Dewey Read-a-thon
- This isn’t really an organizing or task event but it can get those books read you always wanted too. This is one of my favorite events and it starts October 22.
- Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon
- Looking to get some holiday books read for December? Well the Ho-Ho-Ho- Read-a-thon is just the event to help with that. Sign Up now to join and get those Christmas books read.

Are you ready to get organized?
You’re doing awesome! Good luck getting things done this week ahead of Dewey’s! I have a lot I’m trying to get done for work so that I won’t be behind for Dewey’s this weekend. And then I’ll worry about blogging. We’ll see what I manage.
Happy Wednesday! {Hugs}
Woohoo! You’re doing so well, Michelle, and I’m impressed as well as envious. 😉 Keep up the good work, girl! Also, I’m thinking of doing the read-a-thon…but it *is* Sky’s last day home, so…I’ll have to think long and hard about participating. :/
Happy Tuesday!
