#Review ~ Wishing Day (Wishing Day #1) by Lauren Myracle

Posted June 24, 2017 by Michelle in Review / 9 Comments

I am really having no luck with books this month. I might be experiencing a minor slump. Don’t feel bad I didn’t like it because my 2017 Reading assignment list is of books I want to read but not sure I am really interested in anymore. I know some of them look really cute but like I said this year I am in a WEIRD Mood.

I just wasn’t connecting with the Main Characters. She was so flat and one dimensional to me, I also wasn’t a fan of the writing style. I must have read the same page 3 times. I also found myself not wanting to pick the book back up after I put it down. I know I gave it 2 stars but this was a DNF. I only rated it because I am sure it’s a me thing and not the book. If you have it give it a try, maybe this is one of those books that are better suited for younger kids. Overall, just not the book for me.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my review.

Have a great day and Happy Reading!

    • Same problem I am having, I am hoping to try and finish all the books on both shelves, I might take a break from ARCs for a while and try and read what I have unless it’s something I really want. It’s been so hit or miss with new books recently My mood has been so weird.
