We went to breakfast this morning with the family. It was very nice.
My grandmother is 90 so it’s nice to be able to spend some time with her, my mom, sister and aunts.
So I quit smoking almost 10 month ago and unfortunately I gained some weight so now I am trying very hard to get it to go away which I find to be a lot harder to do as you get older. So I started walking and I was glad to be able to do it today by myself without the dog. If I took him I would still be walking 5 hours later cause he needs to stop at every blade of grass, tree, bush, wall, garbage can, steps…. you get the idea 🙂 Drives me crazy. So I was happy to be able to do that..alone and my kids gave me some awesome homemade cards, great hugs and a beautiful bouquet of roses. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband and two very loving children.

I read a few books this week one was confusing and the other was very cute
but I will save it for the blog tours I have for them so I wont say anything else.
(leave you in suspense)
I read a lot of YA and Middle Grade books recently I have been trying to look for a new genre to get into so I happened to see Humorous Mystery on Goodreads and thought maybe I would like that, I have been watching a lot of Castle lately couldn’t hurt to try it so I found a few that I will be honest the covers looks great. So I am currently reading this one
Portrait of a Dead Guy (A Cherry Tucker Mystery #1) by Larissa Reinhart In Halo, Georgia, folks know Cherry Tucker as big in mouth, small in stature, and able to sketch a portrait faster than buckshot rips from a ten gauge — but commissions are scarce. So when the well-heeled Branson family wants to memorialize their murdered son in a coffin portrait, Cherry scrambles to win their patronage from her small town rival.
As the clock ticks toward the deadline, Cherry faces more trouble than just a controversial subject. Between ex-boyfriends, her flaky family, an illegal gambling ring, and outwitting a killer on a spree, Cherry finds herself painted into a corner she’ll be lucky to survive.
Since I just started I really can’t say how I like the book yet.
It was a Mother’s Day gift to myself 😉
I am also very sorry for the lack of review on my part I am very behind on my reviews so I am hoping in the next couple of weeks to be able to have a few more posted my allergies have been making my brain more foggy then normal and I haven’t been feeling that great.
