So my week turned into cleaning the closets, cooking dinner every night and cleaning the house. Wait wasn’t I suppose to be on Vacation, yes I was but I couldn’t just ignore my kids and husband…well I could but I was a good girl and did all the stuff a Mom who stayed home would do except while my daughter was at Pre-K for 2 hours I flopped my ass on the couch and watched TV and/or read a book, Because 2 hours is better then none plus I ignored my husband at night while I read.
I was hoping to read a lot more this week but I had a few shows as well to catch up on. I am so behind on Vampire Diaries and Once Upon a Time. Don’t get me started on Game of Thrones I haven’t watched on yet this season and I’m freaking out 🙂
I did get to finish Rump: The True Story of Rumplestiltskinand write to review for it. I posted that on Saturday. It was such a fun read.
I also read Deer in the Headlights by Staci Hart that I had won on Goodreads (the only thing I ever won on Goodreads). Can I just tell you this book is amazing? I can’t wait to post a review so we can talk about it. It has an amazing cast of characters.
I am currently reading an ARC of The Time-Tripping Faradays: The Alchemist War by John Seven that I received from Netgalley. I have never read a middle grade or Young adult quite like this. The release date for it is July 1st 2013
I have been really trying to expand my range of reading and add more genres to it. I know for sure that there are a few I will not read no matter what but I do want to try more Sci-Fi and Dystopian if I can. After reading Embers of Galdrilene by A.D. Trosper I can’t stop thinking about this books and I want to read more Fantasy, I forgot how much I liked it but I’m still sort of iffy about it since some of those books are quite the investment to read. They can take quite a bit of time and some just way to over the top fantasy.
In all it was a great week. I enjoyed being home to greet the kids when they came home from school. Plus on Sunday we went out to have Ice cream for Lunch and then went to the park to play for a while.
I also this week was able to find out why I have extreme pain in my ankle/foot. I have Peroneal Tendonitis. Which is very painful and of course nothing I can really do for it. I was told to rest but that is easier said than done since I was running up and down a hill today I’m sure I’ll be feeling that tomorrow.
Now its back to work an reading at night after the kids go to bed. Soon when all my TV shows are over I will have a lot more time to read. Plus in the summer I tend to read a lot more. We spend a lot of time at the Jersey Shore so it’s a nice quiet place to relax and read.

Lots of Tours and Stuff coming up in the next couple of weeks and I am looking forward to a few book releases.
The Hero’s Guide to Storming the Castle is coming out on Wednesday I’m very excited I have been waiting a year for this book.
I have a couple more that are coming up that I want to read that I am very excited about.
I had put in for a few tours that I’m not sure I got picked for but a few had some really awesome books I will most likely read. I have no hard feelings if I don’t get picked I totally understand some other blogs have been doing this longer than me. I do get a bit bummed but its ok I will read the book anyway 🙂
OH I all most forgot. I have a nook that I read all my books on. But I noticed that a lot of Authors and Netgalley have a lot more stuff for Kindle so I got the Kindle Paper White this week. I figured since I didn’t really get a vacation I deserved something LOL Its so cute I love it.
