Task it TuesdayWelcome to Task It Tuesday! created by the Awesome The Geeky Blogger

Hosted by Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!

What is Task It Tuesday? It is where every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life. I will also be sharing organizing tips and linking with posts from bloggers that have some great tips and tricks for keeping you and your blog/real life organized.

The next three weeks there will be change in plans for me and my tasks. You will notice that the tasks below are not the usual tasks I list, that is because I plan to do blog ahead starting May 1st and I am also getting ready to leave for BEA and need to get everything organized before I leave. Since Blog Ahead is a great challenge that helps you get ahead I am to do stuff that will keep me ahead so when I get back I am not scrambling to get posts done. I am leaving for BEA on May 11th. So the Task it Tuesday on the 10th my Task list will go back to normal but I wont be doing anything that week.

My Task(s) To Do:

All completed tasks will have a strikethrough and will be deleted at the end of the month.

  • Get Ready for Chicago
    • Print out plane tickets
    • Print out BEA Badge ticket
    • Print out Cubs Game Tickets.
    • Make list of what to bring with me.
    • Get kids ready for us to leave, call schools etc. Write note to teachers.
  • Blog Ahead
    • Finish all reviews
    • Set Up and Schedule Discussion Posts and Create logos if needed
  • Design
    • Finish all design work before I leave.
    • Contact clients that I will be away
    • Set up auto response for while I am away.

  1. Can I say that looking at your list kinda stresses me out, Michelle?!? Eek!! I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed right now with all I have to finish up before heading to Chicago. Your list may help me out though. 🙂 Yay for Cubs tix!! I’m excited to take Lexxie to her first ever baseball game. Two weeks, girl….see YOU in two weeks!

    • LOL It sort of stresses me out too lol. My mom is stressing me out because apparently she never had kids before and can’t figure out how to take care of mine without a full chat lol.

We are sitting in the heavens but it will be nice to say I want to a game. I can’t believe it’s two weeks away!

  2. It’s getting so close to BEA and I am starting to stress out, I know I will have fun but I am so anxious about my dogs, crazy I know but they have to stay outside and it looks like there could be rain or storms.I am wishing them away, they just need to stay away for the six days I am gone. 🙂 Keeping me sane and anxious free will be one of your jobs…lol. 😉 At the same time I am so excited to meet everyone!!!

  3. BEA is coming up quick! I used to go to a fantasy convention every year and the last few weeks beforehand were always nerve wracking but fun as the anticipation built up. Hope you have a blast!
