Bookish Tasks
So in Jan I was planning to fix my goodreads shelves. I had started it but still have quite a bit to do. My main goal for this month would be to create some shelves for challenges and get rid of some of the shelves I have on there that I honestly don’t use. When I originally started goodreads it was to organize the books I planned to read but now it is more about the books I already read and some that I plan to read. lol. Very unorganized so this is why I need to fix my shelves! 🙂
- Reorganize Shelves on Goodreads
- Make new shelves to better organize my books
- Create Challenge shelves for books I read
- Combine my Amazon Shelves with Goodreads.
- Go through READ books and make sure I read all those books.
- Clean shelves for have shelf and have ebooks
I think this will take me some time so this is hopefully my goal for March. I’ll let you know how I did next month! 🙂

Goodreads *sigh* I am such a fail at GR. You’d think I’d be all over that site- I mean, books!- but I always neglect it. Maybe this year I’ll use it more. 🙂

I think I need to organize it more and I also think some really doesn’t need it as much. I like to keep track but more for challenges since I can never what I read for what challenge lol
I want to do this same thing, Michelle. I started working on it last year – mostly clearing off books from my want-to-read shelf that I didn’t want to read anymore. It’s quite an undertaking though, isn’t it? I need to schedule a little time in for it each week so I can pare down my want-to-read shelf. It’s out of control! 🙂

I cleaned that off last year and made two more shelves that will help me figure out what I have. I just want to have shelves for my challenges and also for release dates so I know what is coming out. and when.
I really need to fix my Goodreads but it looks so daunting! 🙂
It is but I sometimes do it when I am watching TV and don’t really feel like doing anything else. It’s also fun to see what the heck I have on my shelf, especially my want to read list.
I desperately need to figure out a better system for Goodreads. I’m fine with the books I’ve read but my TBR is so huge and unmanageable that it is useless. I need to spend some time figuring out a better system. Good luck with your tasks!
I feel like it can be used to our advantage if we could figure out what works best. I think it will just take some time to work out the details. I know what I want to do now just have to figure out how to do it. 🙂
