Tell Me Something Tuesday: Recent New To Me Authors

Once again, this week our blog calendar didn’t really align for a Tuesday post (Tuesdays are popular) so I thought I’d do my post this afternoon and you can check out all the others tomorrow.

Recent New-to-me authors that impressed me

It’s always fun to discover new authors, even if they’re far from new to the reading community, but new-to-me. Recently I finally discovered Lauren Blakely. I’ve had her books on my TBR for a good long time and for some reason, I finally decided to pick up Big Rock, the first book in the Big Rock series. The rest is history, I binged the hell out of that series. And it was fantastic on audio.

Cynthia Eden isn’t necessarily new-to-me, but I read maybe one book by her a LONG time ago and forgot about her. Which was sad for me, because I rediscovered her buddy reading Mine to Take with Brandee from (Un)conventional Bookworms. She is one talented suspense author AND she wrote on of the most memorable sex scenes I’ve ever read in the second book from that series.

Oh and in October I went to my annual Buns and Roses tea/literacy fund raiser. Well, you buy tickets to sit with an author and the choices left when I bought (Was given actually) my ticket were all authors I hadn’t read. I chose Suzanne Ferrell and OF COURSE I had to read at least one of her books. I liked it so much that I proceeded to binge the rest of the series before the tea.

There’s probably more, but those three are the most memorable right now. What about you? Any new-to-you authors worth reading?
