Tell Me Something Tuesday was hosted by Rainy Day Ramblings, but she has (temporarily?) stopped blogging. So a group of us that had been doing posts (Linda from Book Girl of Mur-y-Castell, Karen from For What It’s Worth, Roberta from Offbeat YA, Jen from That’s What I’m Talking About and me) decided to get together, come up with some more topics and keep the meme going.Michelle made us a logo and we’re off and running. For more details, check out this post where I reintroduced the meme.
I can be sporadic, but when I do join in I will always share next week’s topic at the end of the post. So, today is about…
Which books are you looking forward to reading this Spring? (April-June)
I’m not a big planned reader. But thanks to all the Buddy Reading and Book Club Reading I’m doing I do have plans for the month of April at least. These are the books I plan to read this month:
NetGalley / Caffeinated PR for Tour
Library – buddy read with my brother
Own Print
Library – buddy read for readalong
Kindle
Tantor Audio for Review
Tantor audio for review
Library for Bookclub
Tantor Audio for Review
Buddy read from library
Library for bookclub
After April I have no idea! We’ll see 🙂
What about you?
Next week’s topic: What book has been sitting on your TBR pile the longest?
Michelle adopted me as part of her blog when I decided to close down my blog, Fantasy is More Fun. The blog was dying, but my love of reading and the blogosphere was still strong as ever - so I found my new home here at Because Reading!
I'm not just a book lover, but a one time author (that hopes to be more in the future), wife, mom to the cutest, happiest, best 5 year old and step-mom to the craziest, sweetest 24 year old on the planet. My family mean everything to me and they appear frequently in the Sunday Post with Berls. So grab a glass of wine and chat books, blogging, and family with me!
Me too! I’m excited that the narrator is different than the main series, since I really don’t like her voice for Bones. So I’m hoping that will mean I can read and enjoy it quicker!
Nice – it’s great you have those buddy reads to keep you on a schedule. Enjoy April!
You’ve got a nice variety there and remind me that I need to keep going with the Jackaby series after book one.
It’s our COYER YA bookclub pick this month! You should read it and join us – even if just for the after chat via FB messenger. We’d love to have you 🙂
I’m looking forward to Shadow Fallen by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Hmm I’m not familiar with her! What genre? I’m guessing it’s a new release?
Looks good! We might get the second Amos Decker read in the later part of the month too.
yes, I’m planning on it now. I wrote this post before we had tentatively planned on that 🙂
I’m looking forward to The Other Half of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost! 😉
Me too! I’m excited that the narrator is different than the main series, since I really don’t like her voice for Bones. So I’m hoping that will mean I can read and enjoy it quicker!
