Tell Me Something Tuesday: Summer Reading Plans

Tell Me Something Tuesday

Tell Me Something Tuesday is hosted by Rainy Day Ramblings. Check out her blog for upcoming topics! I saw a post by Jen (Twimom) and thought it was fun and decided to join in. So I’ll be jumping in sporadically 🙂

What are your summer reading plans?

I don’t really make different reading plans based on the season, and even less so this summer, since I feel like this summer is incredibly unpredictable. I do have hopes of actually going to work this summer, which should allow me a lot more time to read due to my commute.

In terms of WHAT I’ll be reading, I’ve really been enjoying the  COYER book club reads, so I think I’ll be continuing with that. And I’d like to get in a couple buddy reads. We’ll see about COYER readathons. There’s at least one this summer that I know I want to participate in.

What about you? Do you have special reading plans this summer?

About Berls

Michelle adopted me as part of her blog when I decided to close down my blog, Fantasy is More Fun. The blog was dying, but my love of reading and the blogosphere was still strong as ever - so I found my new home here at Because Reading!

I'm not just a book lover, but a one time author (that hopes to be more in the future), wife, mom to the cutest, happiest, best 2 year old and step-mom to the craziest, sweetest 22 year old on the planet. My family mean everything to me and they appear frequently in the Sunday Post with Berls. So grab a glass of wine and chat books, blogging, and family with me!

  1. I am in the 20 Books for Summer Challenge, so I have picked out 20 to read. I will read others based on how I feel, but I picked out the ones I really hope to get to.

  2. I don’t seasonally read either so basically it will be whatever I am in the mood for…lol. Right now it’s audiobooks of all kinds. 🙂

  3. I have my “list” spreadsheet that tracks my planned reviews and ARCs but I’m so moody. I’m not doing the book club very well either. I hope we can do another buddy read sometime later in the summer.

So how far is your current commute to the hospital area? Mine used to be so short (less than 2 miles) but I read over lunch)
