Blogging, Bookish and Real Life News:
This week was like limbo. It’s like I would start panicking about Christmas and then realize it wasn’t even December yet. This week was also the first week we didn’t have anything extra to do but I felt like I was waiting for that moment when I would remember I needed to be someplace. I guess I was having a hard time realizing things have settled down a bit. I also finished Xmas Shopping for the kids. It feel so strange to be ahead. I am sure I am missing something! 😆
Quick Vet Visit for the Dexter and he is in good health with only two fatty lumps that we will keep an eye one. The kittens aren’t climbing in the tree (thank god) they do play with the ornaments or sleep under it but I put orange skins in a bag in the tree because apparently they don’t like that smell and will prevent them from climbing so I bought clementines and every time someone eats one I replace the skins. 🙂 Thank goodness we all love Clementines!
We are heading to NY to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City today. This will be my daughters first time seeing it. It will be a girls day out, My mom, sister, daughter and me. The boys are staying home. I am so excited, I can’t wait for her to experience it and hope she loves it as much as I did at her age. It should be a really great day. I will visit you all either later today or tomorrow. 🙂
COYER Started Saturday and you still have plenty of time to join us if you want to get those books read! This COYER is very relaxed plus we have some really fun read-a-thons planned. So why not join us! SIGN UP!
I have been in a super blogging mood and have lots that will be coming in the new year as for this year, I plan to just keep a low pace and have a few posts to finish out the year. I am planning some holiday posts, my TBR and of Course Out with the Old and In with the New. I will have most of the info about the challenges for next year next week. I need to start designing some logos.
Speaking of Design, Because Reading is getting a make over. It will debut in Jan…after this year not going as I had planned I am looking forward to a fresh start with a different way of looking at things. I am excited for the new year and I can’t wait for you to see the design! 🙂

I am still reading Allisons adventures in Underland and as much as I am loving the characters it is DRAGGING a bit. The book is 514 pages, it might be something I will read between books until it is finished or until it picks up. I love the characters so I am not bailing on it just putting it aside for now.
The White Queen is f&*#ing weird! Like I have no idea what I read and I wish I could take it back. It was seriously disturbing and not what I thought it was going to be. It was really weird! I am reviewing it this week, review is filled with spoilers and not a nice review.
What I grabbed
I was such a good girl! Even on Cyber Monday…just kidding, I didn’t have time to look around this week but I am sure I will make up for it next week! 😉
Totally Random:
So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading

I finished all my Christmas shopping, but it still feels like I’m forgetting something. I know I’ll buy more stuff for people throughout the month. I’m probably not forgetting anything. Enjoy your trip to NY! I’d love to go there someday. Have a great week!
Your girls day out sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Never heard about the orange peels but hey, if it’s working then awesome. Although certainly you can’t be angry at those cute kitties if they do decide to go for a climb (wink wink). I have to do my COYER post now but wanted to stop by and find the link!
I had no idea about the orange skins but good to know… thankfully my cats are older now and they don’t climb the tree either. But yes they like sleeping under it- must be a cat thing. 🙂
Have fun at Radio City! And wow White Queen huh?
Have a super week!
Oh my gosh that totally random pic is amazing!!! I’m can’t wait for your review of White queen!! I love when someone passionately hates a book!
It’s fun you live close enough to do things in NYC!
I’m excited for COYER and all the blog changes and challenges.
Anne – Books of My Heart
LOL! That happened to me last year. I was all in a tizzy and getting stuff done and then there was that moment when it was… done and I felt there should be more. Not happening this year, but I hope to at least be on time with stuff.
I had fun with Can You Read a Series and am starting strong with COYER. Look forward to all your new unveils for the new year. We’re doing a few new things on our blog, too. 🙂
Enjoy Radio City. Love when it comes to Detroit.
Have a good week, Michelle!
Ha! I LOVE that graphic at the bottom!
