The Couple and The Book…

The reason why they are my favorite couple is because they both love and respect each other, and that’s something I love in my love stories. Both characters grew in this installment, and it was a pleasure to be along for the ride!
Mini review:
Not only is the Rock Chick series one of my favorite chick lit series, because the friendships and loyalty is so strong, but the couple in this final installment in the series, Ren and Ally, are combustible! They are both very strong people, they know what they want, and aren’t afraid to go after it. But I think it’s because Ren is a super-alpha that I love them so much. He is the kind of man who likes to get things his own way, in every way. However, he loves Ally enough to let her do her thing, even when he’s afraid for her safety, or when he disagrees with her, and that’s darned hot in my opinion!
Ally had already worked as a PI on the side for a couple of years before the beginning of Rock Chick Revolution, and she was really good at it! Careful, with great instincts, and never too proud to call for backup at the right time if she felt she’d need it. Ren is a character I’ve been soft on for several books, and it was very enjoyable to get to know the hot American-Italian man a lot better! I loved how he treated Ally, especially when he didn’t agree with her, but managed to listen to her anyway, and take her feelings into consideration – at least most of the time – before starting to either argue or agree with her.

Yes a couple where both characetrs ove and respect each other is a good thing. I want to give some of this author her books a try soon as they sound really good! That alpha man behavior can annoy me soemtimes and I think it’s great Ren still let’s Ally do her own thing even though he worries and is afraid for her.
I suspect I’m going to have to check this one out now Lexxie!

I fell into this series last year, thanks to Brandee, and I devoured it in just over a week. It’s a lot of fun, and the friendships between the characters just make me swoon just as much as the romance does 🙂
