Who doesn’t like a good murder true crime story about murder. I am obsessed, I am legit a true crime junkie. I love documentaries about all things murder, missing persons and just unexplained crimes. I started my obsession by listening to a true crime podcast called Crime Junkies. I did a post on it, here. Ever since starting that podcast a year ago I have listened to so many podcast about true crimes, I actually started a feature to share them all. The one I link was my first one and today I plan to give you another podcast of Murder and Mystery that is worth a listen. The hosts tell an interesting story and the amount of information that is given is detailed and chilling. A lot of the info is hard to listen to so use caution if you decided to try it out but it is about murder so it’s expected. Now we dive into the Parcast Networks podcast, they have so many that it will keep you busy for months if not years listening to them all. Most still make new shows each week. Today we will be focusing on just one, my favorite of all the Parcast Network show…
Information taken from Website since they said it best.
Hosted by Greg Polcyn & Vanessa Richardson
Every Monday and Thursday, Serial Killers takes a psychological and entertaining approach to provide a rare glimpse into the mind, methods and madness of the most notorious serial killers with the hopes of better understanding their psychological profile. With the help of in-depth research, we delve deep into their lives and stories.

My thoughts
Greg and Vanessa can tell a serious story. You wont get any laughs from these two and the voices are very monotone, however it sets the mood for what you are about to listen too. Each one tells a part of the story and the transitions is very easy to listen to. Vanessa does all the psychology for the podcast and some is very in-depth. I have learned a lot about different types of mental illness and maybe even the cause of why some of these men/woman turned to a life of murder.
They cover everyone from Jack the Ripper to H.H. Holmes, the Axman, Ted Bundy and The Moors Murders. I have always had a fascination with Serial Killers, I think it’s more for how and why these people could do this to someone else. Some of the stories, I had to take a break from since they were so awful. The Podcast bounces around from the 1800 to Today and also all over the map. I find myself getting so involved in the story that I tend to forget what is going on around me.
They currently have 213 episodes and I have listened to them all but 4 which came out in the last two weeks. Most have a part 1 and 2 and they are released every week twice. So I tend to wait for part 2 to come out before listening. Sometimes they do casts with other hosts from other podcast in the group and sometimes they can go to 3 episodes, Jeffery Dahmer had three and so did Jack.
I enjoy listening to these podcasts so much that I sometimes go back and listen to them again. While yes the information is hard to listen I just am fascinated by the whole thing. I am honestly shocked by how many serial killers there have been in this world. And for those that love a true crime/serial killer story you know you have that one killer that is your “Favorite” so which one fascinates and which one scared you the most?
Mine is Ted Bundy but the one that scares me the most is Richard Ramirez, serial killers didn’t do one on him (yet) but the Podcast Morbid did and it’s chilling!

I like watching crime specials on TV, but I’ve not tried any of the podcasts. I think I need the filtered version b/c I’m squeamish. 🙂 Great ‘murder’ post, Michelle!
