Busy..Still & April is almost over? ~ WIR & TSP

In Real life:

Can this year slow down….Is April really almost over? This week was another one of me being sort of MIA, I really don’t mean to be, things have been so busy with work, after school activities, school projects and design work for LD. I barely have time to do anything else and all I want to do is sleep. I am exhausted by the end of the day.

Things are about to get even busier now that the coach and my husband think the girls need A LOT of practice so it looks like it will be 5 times a week. I now have to plan my menu a little different and realize that some nights are going to be very late. Our next game is on Tuesday at 7:30…that is going to be a very late night. So once again I might be MIA but I will be around as much as I can and the blog does have a lot this week.

On the blog:

This week I was finally able to post another review. This time Lawless by T.M. Frazier for the Author Love Challenge. I am doing pretty good with it. I am planning to read book #5 very soon, I just need to finish a few other books before I get to that one. I am hoping to devour those rather quickly. The King series is quickly becoming my favorite.

So I am revamping the #Wishlist post because I want to make it like Waiting On Wednesday but with that twist I always like to throw in. The post was not exactly what I wanted so it might be back this week or I might wait until May to reintroduce with a few changes.

In June, Stormi (Books, Movies, Review! On My!) and I will be doing a fun interactive post. We might not set it up at first for people to join us unless it seems like people want to then we will. The post is still being worked out so we will have details soon. (you know I love to post teasers) 😉

June is also the return of Can you read a Series in a Month? Which I totally failed at last year and plan to NOT make that mistake again. The sign up for that will go live in May (TBD) and so will COYER Summer (May 20th). I hope you are ready to make your summer reading lists….Oops did I say that…Nevermind, COYER Summer will be a LOT of fun and more laid back than winter. (ps all books count, like ALL books, you’re welcome)

What I’m Watching:

I haven’t even had time to watch anything but my schedule on Friday goes back to me being alone so I might binge watch either Westworld or Once Upon a Time.

  1. Sorry to hear you’ve been so busy lately! My April has been much of the same, my days are so full I can hardly fit anything else in my days. But business have been awesome, so yay for that.

Glad to hear you’ve been doing well with your author challenge. There have been some authors I read a lot of this year, but I wanted to keep this year low on challenges. I am looking forward to Coyer. And now I am curious what that interactive posts is you mentioned.

I hope this week was a good week for you!

  2. Your house is busy, busy, busy! If your leagues are anything like ours, they always put the best kids on one team and the worst kids on another, which is exactly in opposite of what Little League stands for. I hope Scot is able to teach them some great strategies for game days! I might be going MIA, too. I am so torn, I can’t decide. :/

  3. I hear ya on the insanely busy part. I never remember what day it is because they’re going by so fast that it’s the next day before I get used to the day before. And now it’s nearly MAY?! Wtf? *thud*

I hope you have a fantastic week, Michelle, even though it is busy. 🙂 XOXO

  4. Why does real life have to get in the way of reading and blogging with school work and sport practices??? WHYYYYYY?? I never get to do much reading and blogging in spring either. All we do is practices and games! I love it but still, like you, I am also exhausted by the end of the day and want to go to sleep 🙂
I think I requested The fearless travelers guide too. Looks so good. I hope you are liking it!

  5. I know, right? Almost May already… and it’s just starting to get nice here. Been cool and rainy.

Should be fun to see what you and Stormi have up your sleeves. 🙂 And yay for summer COYER.

Westworld *nods* I liked it although I couldn’t figure out Ed Harris’ character for the life of me. Everything else I really liked though. Can I go to Westworld?? Ha ha where do you think it is located at? I love reading all the speculation, like is it even on Earth or somewhere else?
