Going to Florida ~ The Books I Plan to bring.

Posted April 11, 2019 by Michelle in Just a posted note / 7 Comments

This year we are planning a trip to Florida in APRIL!. What makes this different? We will be driving from NJ to Florida. As much as you think, that doesn’t sound too bad. You haven’t spent time with my family, so this could be really fun, very interesting or the worst trip of our lives, regardless it makes for a fun story.

Since I still have about a week before we leave I thought I would chat about the books I am hoping to bring with me. Since I am officially unplugging from the blog and life (you can still see pics on Instagram or FB) I am going to finally learn how to relax for real. So I am hoping with a week away, I can get a lot of reading in. Maybe finish 4 books in the week? Maybe more? I want to be able to sit and just devour the pages on the beach. Which reminds me the picture above is the actual view we will have from the condo we are staying at. My sister took that picture when they went last year. This will be our first time in 13 years going to back to my parent’s condo (time share) in Florida. We prefer to stay in Disney when we usually go but since money is tight and we haven’t been there in a long time with my parents we figured why not. My parents are getting older and it would be nice to spend a week with them and my sister and nephew so this is a perfect vacation to take and since it doesn’t have a lot to do it will be nice to unwind.

I have an unlimited amount of books on my kindle but I also wanted to bring a few physical books with me. I am looking forward to sitting by the pool or beach with a book. I am thinking fantasy by the beach would be a nice theme for a trip to Florida! 🙂

Fantasy in Florida, these are the books I am planning to bring with me.

I am still trying to decided if I want the actual book for the Priory of the Orange Tree because it just looks like such a gorgeous book to have on your shelf. I know for sure I plan to get The Gutter Prayer. I might have changed my mind a few times and I have a feeling I might change it again before I actually leave. lol

Since our drive is 18 hours (broken up in two days) I might also watch something on Netflix but I am not sure yet. So I will have plenty of time to listen to it. 🙂

I was reading this one but had to stop to read something else at the time, I regret doing that but figured Audio might be a good way to get back into it again plus since I read about 1/4 of it I think it will be fun to hear the characters.

I guess when I get back I will let you know what I was able to read. I am excited for our trip and I hope it is going to be relaxing. I can’t wait to just enjoy our time together and of course reading. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by

Have a great day and Happy Reading

xx
