I have been trying so hard to avoid this post since I was hoping for the best but my garden has seen better days. I lost 3 plants and the rest is just turning brown and dying so I am thinking this will be the last garden post. I wanted to do so much more with this post but the last few weeks things just got so bad and I tried to hard to save it but it just didn’t work.
Thank you all that come to visit this post and please come back next year because I have plans that I hope will keep that garden alive until September.
Pictures before it died
I probably have one good harvest left and the pepper plants are still growing so I might get a few more of those. This was last weeks harvest and it was HUGE.

All my peppers and tomatoes did awesome but no zucchini and a few other plants just died. I never got the big juicy tomatoes. I was so sad. Oh well I will plan better for next year.
I’ve heard you can replant squash for the fall. I’ve never actually done it but I’ve heard it can be done. This year I actually got some squash but got absolutely no zucchini. Last year I had more zucchini than I knew what to do with. Funny how that works. My plants are starting to dye down as well and my garden looks like it’s in about the same shape. I’m kind of glad though. I love my fresh veggies but I’m getting kind of sick of messing with it!
I’m not use I will do it in the fall but I might plan on trying again next year. I still have a bunch of veggies to pick and then have to clean it all out. Last time I planted zucchini it didn’t grow either I was so mad. So I tried the Pitty Pan Squash but I guess that didn’t work either. Me too.
Maybe you can prepare for a Fall/Winter garden? Things that do better in cooler weather. I’m trying to think about things to put out if the weather does cool down. I definitely want to try lettuce again for the turtles.
Sorry to hear your garden didn’t turn out. I planted six zucchini plants and I’ve only had five very small zucchinis from the entire lot. My tomato plants didn’t do much better. Most of them died before they yielded anything.
Thanks 🙂
I just think we didn’t have enough rain and no matter how many times I watered it just kept getting dry. I think the Tomato plants were to many. Zucchini seems to be the most difficult to grow.
That is how my plants look. I think my big fern and my clipping of my ivy are officially goners. 🙁
It’s so sad to watch it die and not be able to do anything. Better luck next year I guess.
My garden completely sucked this year. I got a few tomatoes, cukes and jalapeños and that’s it. blerg Maybe next year.

Poor garden. 🙁

I think I will do that next year, I don’t have time to do it this year.
It was fun while it lasted 🙂 I’ll try again next year.
