It’s been a while! 🙂 I haven’t done one of these in about 3 months or more. I was trying to decided how I wanted to do so this is will cover a couple of months and next month will be more accurate. It has been a rough reading year and I am nowhere near my goodreads goal and I am so sad that I wasn’t about to be over at least 50 by this time. I still have plenty of time but I just hate that reading needed to be pushed aside for other stuff. I am happy to be a little more organized now and able to read but still rather behind 🙂
Books I read this month
This is everything I have read so far this year, up until August 31st. You can see the synopsis or add the books on my Goodreads Page
Books I grabbed this month
I am happy to say that I have been grabbing a few books a lot of them was from book boxes.
I am a mom to two pretty amazing kids, four pretty cute fluffy children and a wife to one adorable husband. I am a gamer, reader and a graphic designer with 20 years experience. I recently started my own business "Limabean Designs" to help other bloggers, authors and anyone else create amazing things that they would be proud to show off. I have been reading since forever and started blogging because I love sharing all the awesome books this world has to offer. I am also the co-host for the COYER Challenge, Reading Assignment Challenge and the Bookish Resolutions Challenge. I try to create a warm welcoming environment on my blog where authors, readers, and bloggers will have a great time. Let’s chat books, games, blogging, recipes, design, or family over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine!
Lots of black, gray and purple covers there! I LOVED Spinning Silver – I hope you enjoy it. I’m having an excellent reading year but it’s my first year of my own blog and also it’s my escape when things are going wild, like my daughter’s health issues, I hope you continue on the upswing now! Lists really helped me now also. Anne – Books of My Heart
I went in and lowered my reading goal on goodreads! LOL It was stressing me out to be so far behind. I think as moms we’re going to stay terminally behind and less organized than we’d like when it comes to certain areas in our lives (reading/blogging). But we have to enjoy this time because it’s over way too soon! (can you tell I’m a mom of seniors and impending empty nest syndrome?) Happy September reading, Michelle!! {{{hugs}}}
I am spotting lots of Reverse Harem books in your list of books that you read :). I think you still read a lot considering what a busy year you had so far. I also got Realms and Rebels :).
I set my Goodreads goal on the low side and am at 86% now, so in another month or two I will probably reach my goal.
I’m also having a terrible reading year. I might lower my Goodreads goal if I can’t reach it. I guess some years are better than others. I hope you’re having a great September.
