out with the OLD: 2015
Looking over the last year I realized I intended to try out of bunch of new features, some of them worked and some of them just never happened. I am happy with what I did on the blog this year but with some real life issues towards the middle I realized that my blog is something I enjoy doing and even with some setbacks in real life this is what I want to do and it helps, like therapy. I’ll talk about that more as we get closer to those months. As I don’t have a lot of new features I want to do yet in 2016, I am happy to say that most of the memes and features already on my blog will continue even some new ones I created during the year. I hope as the new year starts I might be able to come up with a few more. 🙂
in with the NEW: 2016
I have thought of maybe doing the Top Ten Tuesday or getting back into Waiting on Wednesday, I have been looking around for a few more I might like to do but nothing yet has come to my attention. I have maybe one new one for 2016 but I am still trying to decided if it’s something I really want to do.
2015 Features/Memes the will continue into 2016
App Review ~ Since this is one of my personal favorites this one will be around again in 2016 but I have decided that I might make a slight change to how I do them since they are a pain in the neck to set up 🙂
Monthly Rewind ~ I enjoy doing these and since it gives a nice run down of the month, I will be making them more detailed since these really help me when writing the Out with the Old, In with the New Posts at the end of the year.
Because Reading Top Ten ~ I didn’t go a lot of these but I did like doing them, this might be something I do once or twice a month. I have been brainstorming topics and I think it will be fun to do, unless I combine it with Top Ten Tuesday.
Just a Random Post ~ I tend to find these a little harder to write due to my self confidence and not knowing if I am talking out my ass or really know a thing or two 🙂 I do plan to continue these and hopefully give you more me in the process whether I know what I am talking about or not. 😉
Behind the Blog – Fun Facts ~ I think these were my favorite new feature this year. I enjoy talking about things from my past and other stuff so these are a must this year.
The Week in Review and the Sunday Post ~ Of course I will continue this since I love writing about the week and what books I picked up. It’s also a great place to chat with other bloggers and get to see what they did all week.
How does my garden grow ~ This is a spring feature but I had fun doing it and watching my garden get really big and then die. I am hoping to make it a lot better this year and keep it alive longer. 🙂
I am hoping to do more original stuff on the blog but I will talk about that tomorrow.

I agree with Stormi, Teaser Tuesday is kinda fun, and it’s quick. You share a snippet and you’re done. 🙂 Although I’ve started doing Top Ten lately and those take longer to put together, but a ton of people do ’em and it’s fun to hop around (and time consuming!). I jump in and out of memes depending on my moods, LOL. I’ve been looking for a good Friday one but nothing yet.
Glad to see APP reviews making the cut- that’s original. And LOL about your gardens- frickin animals ate so many of out veggies this year, need to find a way to keep em out.
I might start doing the Top Ten, was never a fan of the teaser posts.
I love the App Reviews, no one comments or visits them but I still love doing them lol I think I may rework the layout since they are a bit of a pain to set up.
I think you should do like a tuesday teaser or the friday 56 which is a teaser…I like doing those cause I get to share a snippet of a book I have enjoyed , currently reading or maybe going to read in the future. 🙂 I love the How your Garden Grows depending on what happens this spring, I might try something like that…lol.
For some reason I have never been a fan of the teaser posts. They seem pretty easy but I have been thinking about doing the Top Ten. Those look fun but it sort of interferes with my Task It Tuesday Post. Gardening was fun, looking forward to doing it again this year.
