Out With The Old: October 2014
Some Quick Facts:
- Books Read: 7 Books
- Books Reviewed: 6 book reviews ~ 1 App Review
- Favorite Book Read: The Boy in the Cemetery by Sebastian Gregory
- Favorite Post: APP #Reviews ~ Five Nights at Freddy’s
My goal this year was to read 75 books and as I write this post I am standing at 73 Books, I have no doubt that I will make it but I am a little upset with myself since I would love to read 100 books in a year. Maybe 2015 is my 100 books year. I missed reading a lot of great books this year I have few series that have been waiting for me to read. However I have enjoyed a lot of the books I read this year and had a few DNF. Lets hope next year is a great reading year because this year was pretty good.
Whats to Come in 2015
My must reads, I have a must read list with a challenge I am co-hosting you can see that here but I have a few books that I had wanted to get to but never did. This is my Top Ten books I am determined to read in 2015, some have not been released yet and will be in 2015.
- Cress by Marissa Meyer
- Still Life (The Books of Elsewhere, #5) by Jacqueline West
- Lois Lane: Fallout (Lois Lane #1) by Gwenda Bond
- Flintlock (Cutlass Series #2) by Ashley Nixon
- The Sin Eater’s Daughter (The Sin Eater’s Daughter #1) by Melinda Salisbury
- Nighthawk (Nighthawk #1) by Staci Hart
- Unhinged (Splintered #2) by A.G. Howard
- The Madman’s Daughter (The Madman’s Daughter #1) by Megan Shepherd
- Overpowered (Powered Trilogy #2) by Cheyanne Young
- Say Her Name by James Dawson
This list could go on but these are ones I REALLY want to read this year. Say Her Name I actually just looked it up and am going over to get it now since it wasn’t available in the US in Kindle version only Paperback version, I tend to prefer Kindle books since I can read it at work in the bathroom 😉 but Paperback works just as good since I can’t get it any other way.
Thanks for stopping by to Check out my recap of October and what’s to come in 2015
Have a great day and Happy Reading
Oh, having a top 10 list is a great idea, Michelle! I should *try* to create one. I know mine could go on and on as well but it’d be nice to put down on paper books that I’m determined to get read this year. 🙂 Good luck with your list and challenge!
The Sin Eaters Daughter looks like I’ve I must read!
Good luck with your list. I still can’t believe that you haven’t read Cress! Fairest comes out soon!
I just bought it so I plan to read it this year. I actually have it planned for the Next in the Series Read-a-thon and it was on sale so it counts!!! 🙂
Great list and I must check out some of those as I haven’t heard of them. I am so behind on your #1 listed there as I still haven’t read Scarlet. 🙁 I know you can read 100 in 2015! It’s your year! 🙂
Happy New Year,
Stormi
