We sit for hours looking through our TBR lists wondering when we will ever get to that one book we were dying to read when we added it 3 months ago or maybe even a year. As our piles get bigger we realize there is just not enough time in a day to read all the books that we wanted to read. My personal TBR list has so many books I am dying to read that I just don’t know when I will ever really read them. So I had this great idea, each month I will randomly (using random.org) pick 3 books from my To-Be Read List on Goodreads to showcase to you but that’s not all instead of just showcasing them why not have you vote on which book you think I should read and then at the end of the month I will review the book and in the same post why not give one of the three books picked away (in ebook format). This will help me not only share some awesome books with you but also help me read some books that are on my TBR list. (Need more details? No problem click HERE for the rules)
This month’s picks
The Burning Sky
by Sherry Thomas
It all began with a ruined elixir and an accidental bolt of lightning…
Iolanthe Seabourne is the greatest elemental mage of her generation—or so she’s being told. The one prophesied for years to be the savior of The Realm. It is her duty and destiny to face and defeat the Bane, the greatest mage tyrant the world has ever known. A suicide task for anyone let alone a sixteen-year-old girl with no training, facing a prophecy that foretells a fiery clash to the death.
Prince Titus of Elberon has sworn to protect Iolanthe at all costs but he’s also a powerful mage committed to obliterating the Bane to avenge the death of his family—even if he must sacrifice both Iolanthe and himself to achieve his goal.
But Titus makes the terrifying mistake of falling in love with the girl who should have been only a means to an end. Now, with the servants of the Bane closing in, he must choose between his mission and her life.
Entangled
by Nikki Jefford
Two months after dying, seventeen-year-old witch Graylee Perez wakes up in her twin sister Charlene’s body.
Until Gray finds a way back inside her own body, she’s stuck being Charlene every twenty-hour hours. Her sister has left precise instructions on how Gray should dress and behave. Looking like a prep isn’t half as bad as hanging out with Charlene’s snotty friends and gropey boyfriend.
The “normals” of McKinley High might be quick to write her behavior off as post-traumatic stress, but warlock Raj McKenna is the only person who suspects Gray has returned from the dead.
Now Gray has to solve the mystery of her death and resurrection and disentangle herself from Charlene’s body before she disappears for good.
***Entangled is a young adult paranormal fantasy romance suitable for ages 15 and up.**
Find Me
by Romily Bernard
“Find Me.”
These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found . . . dead.
Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target.
Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?
Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.
But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.
Because it just got personal.
So…..
Have you heard of any of these?
Have you read any of them?
VOTE HERE for what book you think I should read!!!
The book with the most votes will be announced next Saturday!
Thank you so much for stopping by to vote 🙂
Check back next week to see which one I will be reading!
Have a great day and Happy Reading!
I enjoyed ENTANGLED but it’s the first in the series and I didn’t like book 2 as much as the first. In fact, I didn’t read on. o.O I voted for The Burning Sky, but it was difficult to choose between Find Me and it!
All three look good but I went with Find Me, it looks good and suspenseful. Hope which ever one wins is a good one!
I haven’t heard of any of them, but for some reason, I’m drawn to The Burning Sky more than to the other two. Whichever you choose, have fun!
It all depends one what everyone votes for that will be the one I will read. Don’t forget to vote on the bottom 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!!!
Burning Sky because I loved it, and would like to see if you fall in that camp, since this one has tended it to be either love or meh lol.
🙂 I have heard mix stuff about it too!! Thanks for voting!!!
I’ve never heard of Find Me before, so my vote goes for that book. It sounds really interesting.
Nina from J’adore Happy Endings
I haven’t heard of any of them. I’m not saying which one I voted for though. 😀
LOL 🙂
I think I also have Entangled as it was free for a while (or maybe still is). I voted for The Burning Sky as I think it has a nice cover and I would like to know what you think of it :).
I love the cover of The Burning Sky 🙂 I will have to say if I had to choice one of these to read myself, I don’t think I could do it! I can’t wait to see which one wins!!!
Ok so that turned out to be a harder vote than I thought it would! I still went with Entangled because I own it but haven’t read it. So you can read it and let me know if I should be hurrying up to read it or if there’s no rush 😀
I think this will be a lot of fun when it’s 3 books that no one heard of. I am happy to read any of the three. Thank you so much for voting 🙂
I voted for Entangled because I thought it was really fun. It’s not my favorite of the trilogy, but it is really quick and cute. And I’m on the author’s street team and think you need to read it!
LOL that’s awesome! I actually have it on my kindle already so I was a bit giddy that it was picked 🙂 but I would be happy to read any of the three 🙂 Thank you so much for voting!!!
I’ve been trying to finish The Burning Sky for months now; it’s not like it’s a bad book. I just tend to be a slow reader with fantasy. Find Me is pretty great; if you end up reading it, I hope you’ll appreciate its mysteries. 🙂 Entangled sounds interesting!
I am looking forward to reading one of these. Please don’t forget to vote which one you think I should read 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!!!
