Welcome to Task It Tuesday! created by the Awesome The Geeky Blogger
Hosted by Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!
What is Task It Tuesday? It is where every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life. I will also be sharing organizing tips and linking with posts from bloggers that have some great tips and tricks for keeping you and your blog/real life organized.

Last week was just plain crappy, I didn’t get a lot done because I wasn’t feeling that great. So this week I am hoping is much better, I have a lot I want to finish and get done, I am not happy that I didn’t do as well with blog ahead but I did get a LOT drafted and that makes me a little happy since that is usually the hardest part. I am looking forward to filling them in and this week is a little crazy with a wedding on the weekend and halloween around the corner but I will do my best.

This challenge it’s all about getting ahead and giving yourself a blogging buffer. It’s amazing how much having extra scheduled posts can make during emergencies, vacations or just when dealing plain ol’ blogging slumps. It can really cut the stress during every day blogging as well 🙂 And what better way to get ahead than with the support of other bloggers?
- Write On Review-a-thon hosted by Book Bumblings this is a monthly event

How’s your TBR list? No, not that one. I’m talking about “to be reviewed.”
And your NetGalley ratio? How close are you to the coveted 80%?
Or do you have a busy week and need to get ahead on your editorial calendar?
If you answered “blergh,” “gah,” or anything with a curse to one of the above scenarios, the Write On Review-a-Thon is for you.

24 Hour Dewey Read-a-thonThis isn’t really an organizing or task event but it can get those books read you always wanted too. This is one of my favorite events and it starts October 22.
- Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon
- Looking to get some holiday books read for December? Well the Ho-Ho-Ho- Read-a-thon is just the event to help with that. Sign Up now to join and get those Christmas books read.

Are you ready to get organized?
Oh no on feeling sickly. I’m sorry Blog Ahead didn’t go quite as planned for you but, you know, getting drafted posts is awesome too. As is just *thinking* about working ahead. I think that is a big step for a lot of bloggers to go from last minute posting to thinking about scheduling posts and prepping ahead of time. So I count that as a win, Michelle! There’s still a few days left so you never know! I hope some time frees up for ya and you can get a couple of those tackled 🙂
I hope this week is going better, Michelle. Luckily, you do get a do-over of sorts for blogging ahead and other tasks this week. 😀 (always look on the bright side of life *whistles*) I haven’t done that well with blog ahead but we still have a few more days…
{{hugs}}
Hope you’re feeling better this week. I’ve been a bit of a failure at Blog Ahead with a whole 2 posts scheduled so far, so I’m joining in with Task It Tuesday for the first time this week in order to try and get the first week of November scheduled by the end of this month. I’m hoping to take part in NaNoWriMo next month, so anything I can get done this week is bound to help when I’m part-way through November and wondering why I decided to take on the challenge!
Lots better but still haven’t had time to do as much as I wanted, yet. I am also failing with 1 post scheduled lol.
Good Luck with NaNoWriMo! Maybe one year I will try it, I always have stories in my head. 🙂
Blog Ahead has helped me in that I’m a week ahead and have November planned. But how many posts do I actually have drafted for November? None… It’s okay. I’m planning to blog like a mad woman on Saturday and Sunday so that I can at least say I made 15 posts into November 🙂 Good luck this week!
I have all drafts and no schedules. I need an event that makes you draft a ton of posts but not actually schedule them, I would totally rock that event! lol
