Each week I will randomly pick one book each week from my TBR List to share with you
maybe it’s a book you read and HATED or a book you LOVED
or a book you never heard of. Either way tell me what you think and lets chat books
This week I picked…..
So two weeks ago I picked Book #1 so this week I thought I would show you Book #2 from My TBR List.
Like I mentioned last time I have only read one of her books and I loved it so I really am looking forward to reading more from her.
If you want to check out more of her books I suggest Death of a Mad Hatter and she is in the process of writing another fairytale retelling. I am so excited for that one 🙂
Twisted Games (The Fate Trilogy)
by Sarah J. Pepper
His lips – oh, Jace’s lips beckoned me in ways that shouldn’t have been possible. I lost any ability to think logically when I fantasized about his savory kiss. My world was crumbling, my sisters were hunted, my death was inevitable; but, when his lips met into mine, that collision overshadowed all else – Gwyneth Patterson.
***
For years, deities searched for the Fate Sisters, but they weren’t alone in the pursuit. Their biggest rivals, the Hunters, sought the sisters as well. It was a sick, demented race of who could find them first… and then kill them. Gwyneth trusted no one, not even her beloved, Jace. For if he knew what she had planned, he’d be her greatest enemy.
I never heard of this book before, but I think the cover is kinda funny, with one of the cover models holding a pair of scissors. After reading the blurb, I guess the cover makes sense.
I saw this and thought “hey that’s the death of a mad hatter chick! I know this has to be high on Michelle’s TBR”! LOL I like the sounds of it but the cover is tripping me up – in a good way. I want to know what the deal with the scissors is… either is really weird or it means something when you read the book. But now I’ll be totally disappointed if there’s no scissors in the book lol
Looking forward to reading your thoughts on this book. I like the sound of a possible lovers-to-enemies scenario.
Enjoy!
Me too!! That’s what makes these books so interesting! 🙂
