Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

I think this week was pretty normal, work was work…it wasn’t bad but still dealing with things that I wish I didn’t have too. At some point it also felt like when I first started, false sense of hope I think but over all, I was pretty stress free.

My daughter had tryouts this week and we find out today what team she is on and when practice will be. I am hoping it isn’t a crazy schedule until August, but I feel better prepared then I did last year. My wallet however isn’t ready at all. lol All Star Cheer is expensive but rewarding. This gym has done wonders for my daughter and I can’t wait to see how she grows this upcoming year. It is great she is finally out of a toxic gym.

Weather has been weird, Sunny and nice and then stormy and yuck. We are suppose to have a few really nice days, thankfully the AC works in the house, it was nice to have the windows open in the house to finally air it out. Since we moved in the Winter, it was hard to get the old musty house smell out, today was refreshing and made a huge difference.

The house is coming along slowly, I plan to start one room at a time. Sons room first, thinking maybe an indie gaming theme and then our room. Have to get some pictures printed and some other things for the walls since I haven’t hung any pictures yet. A lot of the picture I have is when the kids are little, I think it is time to update them 🙂

While my stress level seems to be lower than usually, my financial stress is still very high but at the moment, I know I am not the only one. Just have to take it one day at a time.

What I am watching:

I watched 9-1-1 season 7. I also watched a little twilight zone. I wanted to watch Bridgeton which I might start today, I just hate that I have to wait until June to see the second part of it!

  1. It’s nice to have a somewhat normal week. Sorry to hear about you still dealing with things you don’t want to at work and that false sense of hope. I am glad to hear your daughter is deign well at her current cheer gym.

That’s nice to hear the house is coming along nicely and you had the chance to air it out a bit as well.

Financial stress is so hard to deal with, I’ve had so much financial stress the last few years and while it’s getting better now I am still easily worries about it because of the last few years. I hope things improve for you!

  2. I’m glad your stress level overall is better but yeah I think we are stuck with financial stress for awhile. Things are just ridiculous. I’m so glad Julia is out of the toxic gym and has found her spot. Hopefully the schedule won’t be too much insanity. I hope you’ve had a great week!

  3. Oh ew.. musty winter air- yes it must’ve been such a relief to switch it out and finally open the windows!!
Our weather has been nice, some days hotter than the others- still nice but fresher. Ranging from 17-28 degrees celcius.

    Have a good week xx
