Week in READview
On & Off the Blog Bullets:
- We got 18 inches of Snow in my area of NJ. It was a pain to shovel and I think we are set for the rest of the year, thank you, no more snow. however I did enjoy working from home for the day.
- This week at work was crazy busy, my boss was away so I was in charge. Had to put my game face on and take care of everything. It was a stressful week but we did it. I am proud of us and know we did the best we could.
- Last week before the snowstorm my daughter wanted to get books just incase we were stuck inside for a long time (that wasn’t an option but why argue) made a nice run and get a few romance reads with pretty covers.
- I’ve been in a romance mood, and while I am enjoying Carl, it is a little on the slow side, I am enjoying it just want it to move along a little faster. I feel like I have been on the first floor forever and it’s not moving along as quickly as I had hoped but I am not giving up yet. I might switch and go back.
- I want to do a book post soon of all the books I have grabbed recently. Really need to finished reading books before I buy them but my daughter (totally blaming her) keeps taking me to bookstores.
- Our littlest rescue is finally going to get fixed on Wednesday. Figaro has settled in very nice in the house. Deaf cats are very hard to discipline and he does test our patience but he is a love bug and we hope the fixing will calm him down a little. He gives the house just enough chaos to keep us busy.
Figaro, causing mischief - Took this weekend to relax and destress while my Husband and Daughter are in Texas at a cheer comp. I have my fingers crossed they do good. They worked so hard and this is a HUGE Comp. It’s got some tough competition. Crossed all that can be crossed!
- Working on redoing some graphics for the blog and adding some that can be used on instagram to share there also.

That a cute Kitty.
Hope you stay nice and warm with lot of books to read.
I’ve not had much luck disciplining a cat period – deaf or not! Figaro is adorable even if he is chaos. I don’t want to live anywhere where 18 inches of snow is ever a reality but the idea of being stuck in the house with a pile of books sounds magical. I’m very much in favor of your daughter’s idea! And always better to be prepared. Have a great week!
Wishing your daughter lots of luck, both with the cheer competition and the chance to stay home and read 🙂
Figaro looks so sweet, and I love the name.
Wishing you a happy reading week
Figaro is so cute!
I am done with winter and planting the garden later today. It’s forecast to be 70s most of the week, after tomorrow. I hope you have a more restful week ahead!
