Welcome to Task It Tuesday! created by the Awesome The Geeky Blogger
Hosted by Michelle at Because Reading is better than real life!
What is Task It Tuesday? Every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life.
Blog Ahead starts Saturday and I suggest joining up if you haven’t yet. This is such a great event and the support is fantastic. Everyone really cheers you one. If you don’t know what it is please check out the upcoming events below. I might also be adding other challenges in as well that I plan to participate in since I can’t seem to find a lot of events that help get your organized or spending time blogging. Which is kind of a bummer.
This week I am keeping this posts the same as always but next week I will be changing things up a bit and making it more functional for me. Just because I post it doesn’t mean I have to do it and I don’t want that to be the case anymore. I need to get more serious with my posts and what I do on my blog because honestly I have been lacking a lot the last few months. It is noticeable in my posts and also in my reviews. I was reading some old reviews from 2 years ago and I realized how awesome my posts sounded, not to pat myself on the back, but they were so put together. I was rather disappointed in myself and want to get back to serious blogging because honestly I LOVE it and want to keep doing it. So next week I plan to have a better schedule of my tasks and something that will help be stay more on top of my tasks and actually get them done 😉
Upcoming Events:
- Blog Ahead hosted by Herding Cats and Burning Soup event is scheduled for the month of October.

This challenge it’s all about getting ahead and giving yourself a blogging buffer. It’s amazing how much having extra scheduled posts can make during emergencies, vacations or just when dealing plain ol’ blogging slumps. It can really cut the stress during every day blogging as well 🙂 And what better way to get ahead than with the support of other bloggers?

Are you ready to get organized?
I’m joining in Blog Ahead too, Michelle. It’s so helpful to have posts done and scheduled, particularly during the holidays! 🙂 I giggled a little at your comment about how you were impressed with your posts from a few years ago. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read a review from when I first started blogging and thought “Wow, that’s a really great review!” I don’t often impress myself these days…I feel like my reviews have gotten a bit stale but I’m not sure how to fix that. Hopefully no one else is finding my blog boring! LOL
Good luck! I know, they’re really aren’t many get organized events. One of my old favorites was the review-a-thon, but she stopped doing it last year. I need to see if someone has picked it up. If not, I might just pick it up. I’ll let you know what I find out so you can add it to your events 🙂
