What is Task It Tuesday? It is where every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life.
My Task(s) this week:
- Get those HTML/CSS codes learned.
- Start a www.codecademy.com lesson over again.
- Attempt to write a bit of code to get use to writing it. (even if I have to write the same thing a million times) I need to know the basics again.
Goal is still the same: Each week will be a little more that hopefully by the end of this I will be able to create a website and/or blog.
Tasks completed this week:
I remembered the website Codeacademy.com and did a few lessons. Want to start over with it again but I am starting to remember a lot of what I learned in school.

It is awesime that codeacademy is free, Michelle! I’m very interested in learning some coding too so i can add elements to my posts that i can’t do now. Good luck with it! What things are you hoping to do with the coding in particular?
I want to create websites and blogs for people. I have some knowledge but not enough to make me confident to actually create a website. So I am hoping to learn, my job has been very slow and I might feel I need a change and I will need this to find good job.
I would love to be able to do much more html, and I have a lot of trouble actually understanding CSS… One day, I might take a programming / coding class just so that I can do little extras for my blog myself 🙂

The codeacademy website is free and a great step by step, you might want to check it out it offers so much and awesome that it’s free.
I know some html and make my post of my posts in text like Berls recommended, it really helps as that way you force yourself to leanr html. I bookmarked that site you mentioned as I would love to learn more html and CSS. I asked Ashley from Nosegraze a question about html/ CSS I had been strugling with for a long time and now it’s fixed and it was pretty simply if I only knew more CSS.
You will learn so much from that website, I love that it’s free, even with just a little knowledge of HTML it will really help. This is also a great resource website http://www.w3schools.com/
HTML and CSS scare me. But you, you can do this!

Good luck! I think you’ll get the HTML down if you just force yourself to do your posts in text mode. That’s worked for me! I’ve got nothing on the CSS though LOL!
Lol I am ok with CSS, the entire thing just scares me but I will do this 🙂
