My COYER Progress

Had some family issues this week that needed my attention so I am sorry I was not around. Things have settled down for now but each day is something different so I will try to be a present as possible during this time but some days it’s hard.

So far I have read 6 books and should be finished with my 7th today since it is a short serial. I will than move on to my book for My TBR List Meme which qualifies for COYER as well. I must say even with all going on I still use reading as an escape and have found that it helps me relax and also get some good numbers (for me) for COYER.

Some of you have been reading amazing numbers I can’t wait to see how many books were read by each of you. I don’t want to make anyone feel bad and know what ever number you end with, that is that many books less that is on your TBR list or if you are like me and read some reviews added about the same amount back or more but that’s ok you need to have books to join COYER in the summer ;

  1. I think 6 books is something to be proud of, Michelle. It’s hard to find time to read when you have kids…at least, that’s been my experience. I’ve only read 11 books so far. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope things have stayed calm this week. I keep telling myself that next week will be ‘easier’ but it’s not happening. *ha* And my kids are older than yours! (I took my oldest to Wash/Oreg for 5 days to do college tours – I’m still playing catch up) I didn’t get signed up for the Scavenger Hunt and I’m bummed. I really wanted to do it. But I’d signed up to do Dusting Off Your Shelves and didn’t get anything read because I was out of town, so… I *did* complete Lexxie’s mini challenge though. Yay!

  2. I am sorry to hear this week has been busy for you *hugs*. I am currently reading my fourth book for coyer, my last book was a novella so I am happy I got that one read in a day. I hope to finish my current read today or tomorrow! I am looking forward to the The Scavenger Hunt Read-a-thon and I just love the graphic you made for it.

    • Thanks Lola and Thank you about the logo, It’s one of my favorites ๐Ÿ™‚ just a fun graphic to go with a fun read-a-thon. I can’t wait for everyone to get the list.

      I am happy with my progress so far even though I started a little slow, I am really hoping to read at least 10 before it’s over.
