Bookish Resolution Challengereport2015 Bookish Resolutions Progress Report lets you check in every month to tell us know how you are doing with your Bookish Resolutions and keeps you moving closer to your goal. We look forward to cheering you on to success!

So how is it going?

I have been trying to keep with my goals and seem to be doing very good but the only one I am really failing at is the comment resolution. I have a plan now but things have gotten a little crazy in my house so I haven’t had the time to visit like I want. My son and I have started to walk but the 10lbs hasn’t been going very good either, next year I am going to make my resolution to gain 10 lbs instead of losing it because I think I could accomplish that with no problem at all. 😉

My Progress Report:

• Goal #1 ~ Get My Netgalley Ratio to 65%

  • Jan – I am at 52%
  • Feb – I am at 61% (I realized I never rated and sent feedback to some books)
  • March – I am at 62%
  • April – I am at 61% (I added a few books so my ratio went down lol)

• Goal #2 ~ Read 65 Books this year

  • Jan – I have read 5 books so far
  • Feb – I have read 10 books so far
  • March – I have read 19 books so far
  • April –  I have read 28 books so far

• Goal #3 ~ Visit/Comment 30 Blogs a Month

  • Jan – I was able to do the 30 however I would like to spread it out more instead of doing 3 days visiting 10 blogs.
  • Feb- I was able to visit 30 but again I did them all kind of in one shot, I would really like to spread this out more and even visit a ton more blogs, stupid real life keeps getting in the way lol
  • March – I didn’t do so good this month with my blogging break and nervous breakdown (that’s what I am calling it) so I will try and do double next month if not at least visit 3 blogs a day
  • April – This was a bad month for me, my blogging break has made me still in a slump and I wasn’t able to visit as many as I would have liked, I also had a few family crisis to take care of but I am hoping next month will be better 🙂

• Goal #4 ~ Read 20 Books Already on my Kindle

  • Jan – I read 1 so far that was on my kindle before this challenge started.
  • Feb – I have read 4 so far.
  • March – I have read 6 so far
  • April – I have read 7 so far

• Goal #5 ~ Lose 10lbs or More

  • Jan – Not doing so good on this yet but I still have time.
  • Feb – Not doing so good still on this but soon
  • March – Food is just so delicious and I am really trying
  • April – As I sit here eating Ice Cream  I am realizing this is going as good as I hoped 😉

  1. I’m LMAO – yeah a resolution to gain weight would be so easy for me! I’ve been on a diet for like 4 years and it sucks, especially since I’m still fat 🙁 but hey, you’re doing great otherwise. The commenting thing is hard for me too – especially with the slump I’ve been in :/

    • I think I will explain the comment thing this week on my sunday post. I feel awful not visiting but you know what has been going on and I think I need to make a statement (whether anyone cares or not) that it might happen for the next few weeks or more till the meds are adjusted.

  2. Oh you’re doign really well with those two reading goals. Just like your my netgalley percentage keeps going up and down, I was there last week to send feedback and requested 3 new books, it seems it always goes like that. Maybe I’ll do a netgalley ratio goal next year as i really want to reach that 80% once, I keep hanging aroudn the 60% nowadays.
I understand your commenting issue, some weeks are so busy I get no commenting done at all and other days I have enough time and get 20 comments done in one day and like Lexxie mentioned, they take a lot of time.

    • Thanks Lola, This sunday post I will explain what is going on so everyone know why I have been so MIA the last few weeks and why I was having such a major Blogging Slump.

I would LOVE my ratio be 80% but I can’t stop requesting lol I have 3 books pending so if they are approved my ratio will go down again 🙂

  3. I think you’re doing really well, Michelle, and hey, I so agree! Food is just so good 😉 I have started walking a lot more than before, but that’s about it… I’m waiting for a new battery for my electric bike, and once that arrives, I’ll go more places by bike again, too, but I can’t seem to get in the right mood for starting my workouts again.
I know that commenting sometimes takes up so much time! But at the same time, it’s always nice to see what other bloggers are up to. It’s a toss-up – read or visit?
Have a fantastic Friday! Happy reading.

    • I love visiting and it’s just been a crazy few months in this house and I fear it will be for a few more but I will try this month to get into a schedule I have made that will allow me to do it all, just need to move out and live on my own lol Just kidding 🙂
