Master spy Twilight is the best at what he does when it comes to going undercover on dangerous missions in the name of a better world. But when he receives the ultimate impossible assignment—get married and have a kid—he may finally be in over his head!
Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the wife he’s chosen is an assassin and the child he’s adopted is a telepath!
First Impression: Why did you want to read this book?
I have heard such great things about this series and wanted to try it. I can honestly say I was not disappointed, there is even a anime that I plan to watch when I finish a few more volumes. This was a great book, had some funny parts but overall just entertaining. I really loved the characters.
Tell me a little about the Characters and/or world build (if any)?
The characters are so awesome. The story is about 3 people, the Spy, The Assassin and The Telepath. The Spy Twilight needs to get a family so he can get into a school. So he adopts a little girl that he doesn’t know is a telepath and find a woman that he pretends to marry that he doesn’t know is an assassin. They are like the perfect family. They try to hide who they are but the little girl knows but doesn’t say anything. They are just the cutest non-family. I just love it.
What was your favorite thing about this book?
I love the character development, while I know in volume 2 there will be more, I just love how well these character are created.
What didn’t you like about the book?
I think that their secrets are going into the next book, but I will try to be patient.
Thoughts after reading: Overall Rating and Why?
4.5 stars for me on this one. I just loved it! It is so different and I can’t wait to read more and watch the anime.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my review.
Have a great day and Happy Reading!
