United by Melissa Landers #audioreview

I didn’t enjoy United near as much as the other books in the series. It was fine – but I feel like the plot went from plausibly unrealistic to incredibly unrealistic. There’s this whole conflict with another alien race and I just didn’t buy the way things were handled. World leaders – human and alien – would not leave so much in the hands of a handful of teens, for one!

I would have much preferred a book with conflicts while they setup life in the new colony. That being said, I still enjoyed the characters and their interactions. And the narration by Madeleine Lambert was still an A – she delivers great voices and pacing and personality. But maybe this series would have been better off ending with the second book πŸ™

  1. This is a trilogy I have been meaning to pick up for ages. I even own the first book but have yet to start it. I’m.a little wary seeing that you were disappointed in the final book but I think I’m still intrigued enough to give it a try. πŸ™‚
