Monthly Book Report ~ October, another pathetic month! ;)

Posted November 2, 2018 by Michelle in Monthly Book Report / 3 Comments

Seriously at some point I will get that reading bug back, for now I am just going to finish out the year and do better planning with my reads. I am a list girl and I need a list of books that I want to read each month and push myself to read like that. I also think I miss challenges, they always made me read. Next year I might start doing those again.

The 24 hour readathon helped me remember why I love reading but I need to get that momentum back. I am hoping to push myself for the rest of the year but I am also going to change my goodreads challenge lower because I really am sad I wont be hitting 50 books this year.

About Michelle

I am a mom to two pretty amazing kids, four pretty cute fluffy children and a wife to one adorable husband. I am a gamer, reader and a graphic designer with 20 years experience. I recently started my own business "Limabean Designs" to help other bloggers, authors and anyone else create amazing things that they would be proud to show off. I have been reading since forever and started blogging because I love sharing all the awesome books this world has to offer. I am also the co-host for the COYER Challenge, Reading Assignment Challenge and the Bookish Resolutions Challenge. I try to create a warm welcoming environment on my blog where authors, readers, and bloggers will have a great time. Let’s chat books, games, blogging, recipes, design, or family over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine!

  1. Ah man, that’s tough when your reading mojo’s not there. Lists are my thing, too.
Oh cool! I want to read that new Pride and I got the holiday romance for review, too.

Hopefully November will be better reading for you, Michelle!

  2. Well you got some great books, although some might be too creepy for me. I am also a list girl and I have really worked my list this year. COYER with the list helped me discover how best to utilize it and I’m never giving it up. I hope things improve because you know reading is the best. Anne – Books of My Heart
