My Review:

I am a sucker for skating it’s my favorite things to watch on the Olympics and we have been to a few ice shows for the kids. I just love the skaters movements and the things they can do on the ice are amazing. I read the synopsis and just totally fell in love with the idea of this book. I wasn’t disappointed I actually really enjoyed this book. Courtney and Josh did drive me crazy sometimes and once in a while Josh’s sister, Stephanie gave me trust issues but this was a sweet book to read.

I really liked Courtney she was a competitive girl and worked her butt off to get to the Olympics but when her coaches take in Courtney and her partner Mark’s biggest competitors things get a little crazy. Josh is quiet and his sister Stephanie is a BITCH! Actually Josh’s entire family is just a bunch of jerkfaces, especially his EVIL mother. I hated all of them. Josh and Courtney are just so sweet together and I wanted everything to work out. What I liked the most about this book was the end. I wont tell you what happens but it was more realistic than I thought it would be and I actually liked it exactly the way it went.

I highly recommend, as much as this book had no heavy steamy scenes, it does have a few moments. This is a book one and I am looking forward to getting back to Courtney and Josh’s story in the future. I have no doubt their story will have a lot more ups and downs and I am sure Stephanie and her evil mother will be back.

  1. Ice skating is pretty popular here in the netherlands for some reason and it’s one of the few sports we’re good at as a country, lol. My mom often watched the ice skating tournaments on tv, but I find it boring to watch, although it can be fun to do. We went ice skating quite regulary when I was younger, usually a few times a year, although I am nto really good at it and haven’t ice skated in a few years now. When it’s cold here, people go and ice skate on frozen rivers and lakes. I don’t think I ever read a book about ice skating though, maybe I’ll have to give one a trr someday. It sounds like it would make for a good setting. Sounds like there are some really unlikable side characters though. I do like the sound of Corutney her character, she sounds like a great main character. Great Review!
