Cover Love #review Ho Ho Hocus

Posted June 23, 2018 by Berls in Review / 4 Comments

This was a really fun Christmas story I probably would have never discovered if Michelle hadn’t made the cover! (she’s good, isn’t she?) So I just loved the idea of Magic going awry and the guy turning into a dog. That turned out to be very cute and I really enjoyed the main characters magic struggles in general. I found myself really wanting to know more about this world though – like what kind of family casts her side for Xmas because she sucks at spells? I’m hoping I’ll later see this as part of a series and get more of the world!

3.5 stars pretty good

About Berls

Michelle adopted me as part of her blog when I decided to close down my blog, Fantasy is More Fun. The blog was dying, but my love of reading and the blogosphere was still strong as ever - so I found my new home here at Because Reading!

I'm not just a book lover, but a one time author (that hopes to be more in the future), wife, mom to the cutest, happiest, best 5 year old and step-mom to the craziest, sweetest 24 year old on the planet. My family mean everything to me and they appear frequently in the Sunday Post with Berls. So grab a glass of wine and chat books, blogging, and family with me!

    • Haha I know, I have a couple Xmas books and I thought about pushing the reviews back. But at this rate, I’m so behind I might as well just keep the reviews coming lol
