Each member of our family gets a Christmas ornament. This way when my children leave the house they have enough ornaments to decorate their own tree.

  2. A holiday tradition of mine would have to be me and my sister putting Christmas music and singing off key and very loudly might I add.

  3. Sam Stamp

My favorite Holiday Tradition is decorating the Christmas Tree with my Mom & my sister while listening to Christmas Music!

  4. Judy Cox

I love being with the entire family on Christmas Eve and opening our presents and then watching the children on Christmas morning when they see what Santa brought them!!!

  5. Diane Elizabeth

Driving around town looking at all the holiday decorations and lights people have in their yards.

  6. My favorite holiday tradition is going to my aunt’s house on Christmas Eve with the whole extended family. We have a traditional English christmas dinner (I have no idea why- we live in the US), and then we open the presents and stockings from aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Then we have a whole other christmas in the morning with my immediate family. This tradition started because my cousins got abandoned as children, and lived with my grandmother who was too old and crazy to do christmas, or even get a tree. So christmas eve was their big christmas, and then they would alternate going to christmas morning at all the different aunt’s and uncle’s houses.

  7. Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite holiday tradition is shopping with each child for a new ornament. I let each of my 4 children pick a new ornament every year for this years tree. My tree is littered with ornaments from years past every year.
I hope to give them all of their ornaments when they move out, so they will remember all of their childhood Christmases.

My favorite Christmas Tradition is a Christmas-Eve Dinner. Since I was a small child we have had Fondue which consists on beef cut into small pieces and everyone gets their own small bowl of meat to cook in the pot. Dinner usually takes about 3 hours because you have to cook each piece of meat one piece at a time. The funniest thing is that if your meat falls off your fork in the pot you have to kiss everyone at the table of the opposite sex on the check. My family has been doing this since I was a child and I am 50 years old. I have 4 siblings and including their kids and the grandchildren it can be quit the night, but we all love it. I think it is the best quality time we all spend together all year. We talk and laugh and the spirit of Christmas really comes alive not to mention the love of being with family. After dinner we open one present each, one person at a time. We have a large family and the night is can be very long. After the present opening we go to Midnight mass together. That is our Christmas Tradition.

My favorite tradition is tonight. We get together with friends and family and go to the downtown area of our city and watch Santa’s arrival, the lighting of the downtown lights and fireworks display.

  10. We always go to visit my grandparents at Thanksgiving. It’s the one day each year that the extended family gets together and we see people that we just never see. Awkwardness is put aside and we just enjoy seeing my grandmother light up with each new person that walks through the door! Thanks for the giveaway!

We put up our tree and decorate the house for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. Every year we watch The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and The Christmas Story at least once. I always make peanut butter fudge and cut out cookies.

A Holiday tradition we love to do with the kids is driving around town and looking at decorated houses. Some houses really look awesome. And we love decorating the tree!

  13. Cathy Lee

We don’t really have a Black Friday tradition. Some years we trek out early to shop. This year we didn’t head out until after noon on Friday. We avoided the worst of the rush!

My family and I have Thanksgiving a week early bc then everyone can get off work and come stay w/ us! πŸ™‚

Thanks for the giveaway and happy Black Friday! I’m all about the baking and decorating for the Holidays:3! When else can you wear horribly ugly sweaters with funny looking reindeer ears with jingle bell earrings and not have your sanity questioned.

  16. Our family from St. Louis always visits us here in Chicago. (For both Thanksgiving and Christmas!) They don’t mind driving at all, the weather has been cooperating with us for quite some time now.

  17. Bonnie Hilligoss

I have daughters in Tampa and for many years we have been going to Disney World for a couple of weeks and them over to the girl’s for Christmas. There’s nothing like Christmastime in Disney!

  18. Jennifer M

Our tradition is just mostly to gather the family and have Tofurkey! We also open presents on Christmas Eve. My mom and I then enjoy lots of Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies. Happy Holidays! Thanks for the generous giveaway!

  19. Lori Hopkins

I love listening to CHristmas music while decorating and wrapping presents. Plus, watching Christmas movies all month long, and checking out light dispays!

  20. Besides getting together with family I don’t really think we have any traditions. Sort of wish we did..lol. Now that mom has passed on and it was in December when it happened I just don’t have much to do with the Holidays..I don’t put up a try or decorate..she was the Holiday lady and I am just a big ole Scrooge..bah humbug. :/

    • Oh we do that also! it’s so much fun and people go all out on the light on their house, it’s beautiful!
Thank you so much for entering, Good Luck πŸ™‚
