Michelle is going on Hiatus!

Posted April 29, 2018 by Michelle in Just a posted note / 11 Comments

I am going on a brief hiatus from blogging to get my shit together. Like seriously, I took on too much, too fast and never let myself adjust slowly to each new addition. I AM NOT LEAVING THE BLOGGING WORLD, but everything has been suffering because I can’t handle all I have taken on and a few other rather stressful real life things. I just need to step back from everything and try to figure out a better schedule that leaves me less stressful. I haven’t felt like myself in a couple of months and now it’s effecting my home life and job. I am planning to get it all worked out and be back to regular blogging by May 20th. I will still have my TBR List but that will be all until I can reorganize this chaos I call my life. 🙂

Have a wonderful week, I will be back soon! Happy Reading, my friends!

About Michelle

I am a mom to two pretty amazing kids, four pretty cute fluffy children and a wife to one adorable husband. I am a gamer, reader and a graphic designer with 20 years experience. I recently started my own business "Limabean Designs" to help other bloggers, authors and anyone else create amazing things that they would be proud to show off. I have been reading since forever and started blogging because I love sharing all the awesome books this world has to offer. I am also the co-host for the COYER Challenge, Reading Assignment Challenge and the Bookish Resolutions Challenge. I try to create a warm welcoming environment on my blog where authors, readers, and bloggers will have a great time. Let’s chat books, games, blogging, recipes, design, or family over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine!

  1. I feel ya. No, really. I do. I’m a perv. 😉

    You and me both got lots going on. But we will persevere! We gots this!

    I hope you have a fantastic week, Michelle! XOXO

  2. You have to do what is best for you, first. I completely understand the getting in over your head / taking too much on aspect. I think many of us have done that at one point or another. Recenter yourself and it will all work out 🙂 I will be here when you get back!

    • I think with a better schedule I should be able to get things in order. I’m very OCD and I’ve had it under control but when I get overwhelmed it takes over my life. I’ll be back soon and thank you!

  3. Girl, I can so relate! And I’m sorry things have gotten so stressful for you. You take whatever time you need to feel like you’ve got things worked out so your life is balanced and you are happier and less stressed. I’m sort of doing the same: cutting back on blogging while things are crazy-busy with work. Like you, I don’t plan to give up blogging, but I can’t keep up a regular schedule at this point.

    • It’s really my fault for taking on stuff when I should have realized I was filling up time I didn’t have and with being so overwhelmed my OCD made it so much worse. I’ll be back soon enough! 🙂

  4. I hope the hiatus will help you get things in order and get things more organized. It sure is difficult to handle everything at times :(. I will miss your posts, but I hope the break is good for you and you’ll feel better when you return.

    • Me too, I feel like if I stop, I can reorganize myself better. I want to focus on home life and design for now. I feel like my OCD has taken over and now instead of getting stuff done I am just obsessing over what needs to get done but not doing it. This week was a lot more productive and I felt a little better but I think after a few weeks, I will be in a better place. 🙂

  5. Take care, my dear! I hope I’ll still see you on Facebook and Twitter, if not I’ll just miss your face TOO much! {{{HUGS}}}
