Monthly Book Report ~ January 2021 Recap

I was hoping to make a better dent in my reading this month but things happened and I read a few things. I am hoping February will be a lot better reading month for me since I plan to do what I did for December with the Mistletoe in Montana series. The series was released each day up until Christmas. Well I found another series that does the same but for Valentine’s Day. They are short and sweet and totally over the top and I cant wait to read them lol. I believe the first book comes out the 1st but I could be wrong, I am trying to use my KU so I noticed some are not on it so I might skip those but could go back later if I really like the series to purchase them. I am going to figure out the review schedule for it this week.

I did a buddy read for Wicked Saints with Stephanie from Once Upon a Chapter. It was a pretty good book and I purchased the next in the series to start when the last book comes out in April. We are also planning to do another buddy read together in March which I am looking forward too. I usually suck at buddy reading but this actually really got me to read more and it was fun to chat, especially if I get confused.

My goal for the rest of the year is to review what I read since I have been lacking in that area. I also need to start writing down thoughts when it comes to reading books because sometimes I can’t write the review that day. My brain isn’t as young as it used to be. LOL
