July’s Monthly Book Report

SLUMP! BIG FAT STUPID SLUMP! I am so mad how slumpy I am. Next month all bets are off and I am reading whatever, I don’t care if the release days is 9 months from now, I am reading it. I need to get out of this slump and actually read some books. My goodreads goal is starting to stress me out. 🙂

You will notice a LOT of reviews on the link, that is because I have Berls now to help post reviews. I will be back to posting more next month, I actually do have quite a few I need to do. So this month was a crappy reading and grabbing month. I promise next month I will grab a lot more. 😉 lol

About Michelle

I am a mom to two pretty amazing kids, four pretty cute fluffy children and a wife to one adorable husband. I am a gamer, reader and a graphic designer with 20 years experience. I recently started my own business "Limabean Designs" to help other bloggers, authors and anyone else create amazing things that they would be proud to show off. I have been reading since forever and started blogging because I love sharing all the awesome books this world has to offer. I am also the co-host for the COYER Challenge, Reading Assignment Challenge and the Bookish Resolutions Challenge. I try to create a warm welcoming environment on my blog where authors, readers, and bloggers will have a great time. Let’s chat books, games, blogging, recipes, design, or family over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine!

  1. Boo-hiss to the slump! Hope you find something awesome that puts an end to it. I read Royally Screwed in July, too (well, I listened to it on audio) and enjoyed it so much. Can’t wait to pick up the next book!

  2. Slumps are a pain! Hope it goes soon. Maybe it’s summer? I sometimes feel like doing other stuff in summer, when it’s nice… unless it’s 8000 degrees lol.

    Ice and Embers looks awesome!

I’ve had a reading slump myself this month. It happens. I have to “feel” a book for me to really enjoy it. Totally bought books and didn’t get around to reading them until years later!

  4. It doesn’t look like a terrible month to me, despite your reading slump. Ice and Embers has a beautiful cover, and looks intriguing; I saw it on another blog, too. I’ll keep an eye out for your review. And I hope you get out of the reading slump and back into the joys of reading soon. I’ve been in a blogging slump (well, partly a slump and partly just not having time/energy because of work), but I’m hoping to climb out of it this month, too.
