I am not sure what I was expecting but this was really good. I never read a graphic novel and honestly when I picked it for my TBR list I didn’t know it was until someone mentioned it. It was a great read and I now want the rest of the series. It’s a little expensive but I plan to get them when I can.

The story is about Emily and Navin, the family moves to their great grandfathers house with their mom. The family experiences a great loss and needed a change and fresh start. The house hold secrets and something is going on. They didn’t expect what they got and OMG I love the world that it throws you into. I am eager to see what happens next. This is a great book one in what looks to be an amazing adventure.

Highly recommend, I am not sure what age group this would be for, maybe teen, but definitely YA and adult. This is really a fun read. I enjoyed it! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by to check out my review.

Have a great day and Happy Reading!

  1. Do you know, I’m STILL waiting for my copy at the library? It says it’s checked in, but…here I sit. Still. *sigh* My library has a wonderful large collection of graphic novels. I suggest a purchase for ones I really want or if I don’t want to be too greedy I do the interlibrary loan. I got the majority of the Sandman graphic novels from out of state libraries. How cool is that?!

  2. That’s the one reason why I don’t read more graphic novels, they are so expensive compared to normal books and how much reading time you get out of them. But they can be fun. From the cover I didn’t realize this was a graphic novel either. It sounds like it was a great read! I hope you can get the next book!
