Week in READview:
On & Off the Blog:
If you know me you know I am a huge Gamer! My games of choice are Disney Dream Light Valley and The Sims4. This week was a huge updated week for both games and we got lots of new and fun stuff. While reading is one hobby, gaming has been taking a lot of my attention as I need an escape from the way of the world (don’t get me started). I have been reading a little more than normal but not back 100% to what I was reading before. Currently I seem to be buying more than reading. Which is totally fine with me 🙂 I also bought the 3 month of Owlcrate Horror only because the next book might be a book I REALLY want so (not saying so I don’t jinx, lol) I figured I can get it for the rest of the year and reconsider if I want it next year again.
This week wasn’t too bad overall, the family (husband and daughter) left on Thursday to go to Dallas for NCA All Star National Championship, Unfortunaly there was an incident at the convention center (saturday) and it was put on lock down. They stated it was a fight and reports of shooting. So of course everyone was cleared from the building and the event was cancelled for the rest of the day. My husband and daughter are safe and back at the hotel. Don’t know about tomorrow yet but if I find out I will updated.
Work has been busy besides regular work I have also been freelancing for a company and also been busy with Limabean Designs. I am hoping to keep this momentum going. I really enjoy doing all this work and am now settling into a productive routine.
Read & Currently Reading:
Still reading, I am enjoying it but tend to read before bed and I keep falling asleep. 🙂
What I am watching:
Last weekend I started Cobra Kai, I am liking it but haven’t watch much since then will start up again next weekend since this weekend it’s a cheer weekend.

That sounds scary for your husband/daughter, glad it worked out ok.
I didn’t know you were a gamer! We all need our escapes!
Oh I’m so glad your daughter and husband are safe! How scary for them and for you. Being far away when an incident happens is not for the weak! I’m a big fan of The Sims4 and Dreamlight Valley. My son has stolen the Switch so it’s been awhile since I’ve played Dreamlight Valley but I’ve been making up for it with the Sims! I hope you have a much calmer week!
Busy, you are always busy. yes the world out there is rough. I can’t understand the people who aren’t aware except I used to be like that, not paying attention to anything political. Not anymore.

Oh that’s so scary!! Happy to hear everyone is safe.
While I updated my sims game, I haven’t played yet- not sure I missed the buglars 🙈 They can be pretty annoying, specially when you don’t have the funds to buy what they stole!
Oh nice! I kind of fell out of my gaming days awhile back. Ironically, reading became more fun for me. Lol. Wasn’t a huge gamer but I did like playing The Sims too! They have definitely gotten more advance since I played and even then they were starting to get more customized too! I keep wanting to read Phantasma but then end up reading books for upcoming events. I need the author to come visit so I can justify upping her book in my queue! Lol.
Hope you have a great week ahead!
Here’s my StS
