Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

I can’t believe it is already November. Like were has the time gone!

Since we moved I have had the best time on Halloween, this area of our town is crazy busy and we gave out 10 big bags of candy and I had to raid the pantry to find a few more things to hand out before we called it a night.

This week was an actual regular week at home but work was a bit stressful. Not my favorite week at work but by the end of the week things got better and of course Halloween made it the best week ever! 🙂

Today we celebrate my daughter’s 18th Birthday. Yesterday we went out to dinner and of course our birthday trip to Barnes and Noble, she gets books for her birthday, I get books because I had her.

The weather has been incredible! I am loving the chilly nights and don’t hate me but I am loving the fall back time. Makes everything feel so much more cozy.

Thought I would share the Dog and kittens getting treats! I love a full house. Figgy is getting so big, no one really likes him but they will adjust once he stops attacking EVERYONE and EVERYTHING! I also think he has ADHD, if cats can have that. We just feel bad he can’t hear.

Today I have a bunch of stuff to get done and also try to prepare for the new week.

Read & Currently Reading:

S.A. Barnes is an insta buy for me, I don’t care what she writes, I will read it. Her Sci-fi Horror books are amazing!

What I got:

A lot of the books I wanted to grab aren’t out yet so I went with romance this time around. Lots of holiday and spicy reads.

Huntsman by Naima Simone
Throne in the Dark by A.K. Caggiano
Fall I Want by Lyra Parish
Good Spirits by B.K. Borison

  1. It is a favorite time of year. Our leaves aren’t quite down in the front yard but the backyard is keeping us busy. There’s plenty of pretty colors in the neighborhood and it’s odd but flowers are still blooming too. We didn’t do anything for Halloween this year really, except yard work and I did poll greeting for the election. If you haven’t – vote – NJ has key elections . I can’t believe it is November already.

  2. I love that you get books because you had her! LOL That seems like the most fair thing ever to me! You did the work – but also, happy birthday to her!
