Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itβs a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Real Life & Blog News:
On Monday I will be the proud parent of a 10 year old π Ryan’s birthday is Monday but on Saturday we went to the Diner to celebrate his birthday with the family. I can’t believe my little baby is going to be 10 years old. They really do grow up so fast but he is turning into an amazing little man and I am super proud of him π He was super excited about his gifts and since Monday is a regular day of work and school we thought we would give him his gifts early. Said it was the best birthday every! We plan to get him a bike also but he will pick it out himself on Friday since I’m not sure what size he needs, in the last few weeks he seems to have grown a lot.
I was ultra lazy this week and maybe it’s because I got so ahead on my post but I can’t let that set in to long since I am a productive type person and need to be always doing something otherwise I get in a rut that is really hard to get out of. So Friday I set up a few posts and fixed my calendar. Next week I am joining The Geeky Blogger with a feature/meme she has called Task It Tuesday. I am super excited about it and I think it will really keep my blog and home life more organized. I am adding my real life into it since I think it’s a great idea giving you a week to handle that one or two tasks that you might have been putting off.
I wont be around much today until later so if you stop by to comment don’t worry I will be by your blog at some point today π

So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading
Happy Birthday Ryan! My youngest is turning 12 this year and they grow up so fast. That’s a nice surprise for him to celebrate a couple days before his real birthday. I’ll have to check out Task It Tuesday. I was doing good with writing up my posts early but then I got behind again. It gets hard when I have to work on the weekends so maybe this meme will help me stay focus. I hope you are having a great week!
Thank you Kathy π He really loved it plus we made his actual birthday very special with yummy cupcakes and lots of singing lol
Yes check it out. It’s such a great idea, I am starting on my task tonight and I am looking forward to seeing how much I can get done π
Thanks for stopping by!
Can’t wait to hear what you think of Top 10 Clues. . Happy Birthday to your son!!
I’m 55 and thriving! I hear these are supposed to be our best years. Let’s hope, eh! You got The Witch’s Boy too! I’m going over to see if it’s still on sale. I’ve resisted long enough. LOL Happy 10th Birthday Ryan!
I hope so, I still have a while to go but I have no problem being 40 I feel like it’s the start of some awesome times with my little people.
I’m not sure if it’s available still but if I see it at that price again I will let you know!
You’re not old and the best is yet to come. I am stronger at 54 than I was at 34. Have a great week!
Lol I am hoping once this winter is over my energy will come back π At 40 I am still feeling about the same as I did was I was in my 30s.
Happy birthday Ryan! Sounds like he had a fantastic birthday. Good luck finding the perfect bike! I’m curious about Tear You Apart. I’ve been seeing it everywhere lately but I don’t think I’ve yet to hear what people actually think of it. Have a great week!
He is very excited about the bike, we will now have to teach him to ride, that should be fun lol
I am now worried it’s a book two and if that’s the case I can’t read it, I have a thing about order. It’s an OCD I have.
Wow you was a really good girl this week. π I have Tear You Apart to read but I got to read the first book first..hehehe. I just picked it up this past week as it was really cheap. π
Stormi
Wait a minute! That’s a book 2? I can’t read Tear You Apart yet if I haven’t read the first one! Good Gravy! It doesn’t say book two next to it! Might be changing my read now.
Yay! Happy Birthday Ryan! I always love making the kiddos’ birthdays special, and it sounds like you did! Happy reading!
Thank you! Jonita π
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Happy birthday to your guy! Hope it’s a greay bday and weekend for you guys. I like the Mario stuff, how fun.
Top Ten Clues You’re Clueless looks like a fun read . Hope all your books are good this week! π
Thank you Greg! The Mario stuff was so fun to find and he loved it, I could have bought him so much stuff but I figure I would wait π
So far it’s a cute story. Thanks for stopping by!
They grow up so fast, what a handsome little guy. Sometimes we all need a little lazy in our life. I hope the week ahead is amazing, good luck picking the bike out.
Thank you! In the last 3 weeks I swear he has sprouted like a bean stalk π
he is so excited about the bike, now we just need to teach him how to ride it!
Happy Birthday Ryan!!!! They grow so fast π we all need a lazy week from time to time, I’m going to try for one soon π
We both have Tear You Apart! How’d we end up with so many of the same NetGalley books? I think I must have copied you lol. Talk soon!
Yes you need one lol I am totally a bad influence π
I’m seeing Tear You Apart around several blogs, starting to get intrigued as to what it’s like!
I have heard a few things about it but I am actually wondering if I would like it.
Happy Birthday Ryan! They definitely do grow up fast – we have several important b-days in my family this year – my youngest will turn 10, 3rd will become a teenager, 2nd is turning 18, and my oldest 20 :O I can’t believe I’ve been a mom for almost 20 years already!!
Being lazy is nice every now and then, but like you I have trouble getting back to being productive if I stay ‘idle’ too long. I’m glad you’ve organized things to make sure you’re on top of everything, Michelle.
Have a fantastic week and happy reading π
That’s awesome π my youngest is 7 so I have a while for them to get to teens and in the 20s but I am sure it will be here before I know it and OH NO!!! lol
It’s amazing how I can go and go and then when I say I think I will just rest for a day and BAM I’m in lazy mode. lol
Thanks for stopping by Lexxie π
Happy birthday, Ryan ! My youngest is 11, so I know what you mean, kids are growing up so fast ! Task tuesday sounds good, but I would need the same incentive for home, not for blogging π Have a great week !
It’s so amazing how little they are and then they are giant when you blink LOL
I thought the home and blog would be good, after this week I might set it as Blog and Home so each week I have a task to do for both.
Thanks for stopping by!
I am interested in your post on page numbers. It’s an issue for me with E-ARCS. Hope you have a good Sunday.
It’s an original post so I of course am nervous about it, since I am not a great writer but I hope people will chat with me on it π
Congrtas with Ryan’s birthday! He really looks happy in that picture. I hope he had an amazing day. I can still remember how mcuh I lvoed birthdays when I was a kid and then when you’re grown up it just isn’t that much fun anymore.
Oh I am looking forward to the Task it Tuesday feature, it sounds fun.
You did much better this week than me with acquiring new books. I got 5 new review books this week. I like the cover of the Witch’s Boy. I hope it is as good as it looks.
Have a great week Michelle!
He is a very happy boy! and I don’t mind my birthday as an adult, I try to spend it with my family doing little thinks makes it worth not getting all those awesome gifts anymore π
I love task it tuesday and I realized how ahead I can really be, so excited lol
The cover is what got me, plus I have seen a few people talk about it and I couldn’t pass it up!
Thanks for stopping by Lola!
