Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

This has been a weird week, nothing really happened but it just felt weird. I had stopped my anxiety meds for a bit and realizes at the beginning of the week I probably start taking them again. Sometimes you think you don’t need them but that’s because they are working.

The husband and daughter are going to Oklahoma at the end of the week for a Cheer Comp. I am staying home since I already have done to Kentucky and Indie. I will miss being at the event but I am able to watch from home which is awesome. I honestly love watching these kids perform, they are outstanding. All Star Cheer is a crazy sport and the things these kids do is just amazing. Never thought I would be a cheer mom but I love it!

It was my moms birthday this week so we went out to eat on Saturday. Since the restaurant was next to Barnes and Noble, of course I had to stop and give myself a treat since I felt like I totally deserved it. 🙂 I also had some empty space on my shelf that needed filling . That’s my story and I am sticking to it.

Read & Currently Reading:

CurrentlyBuddy Reading this book with Berls. We just started but I am excited to read it. I am so in love with this cover!!!

What I grabbed this week:

Gothikana and Sanctuary of the Shadow has sprayed edges and pretty insides so I couldn’t, not grab them. City of Dusk has been on my list for a while that I wanted and One Dark Window seems to be haunting my on TikTok so I grabbed it.

What I am watching:

Grey’s Anatomy, I know I am late but I figured I would try it, I got through season 1 and am currently on season 2 but I am not sure if I like it or not. I keep watching it just for something to watch.

  1. I didn’t discover the brilliance of Grey’s Anatomy until I started watching it a couple years ago. I was thinking about starting from S1.

  2. You definitely deserve a treat! Happy birthday! I hope husband and daughter have a wonderful time at cheer camp and you have some nice alone time. I’m about to slowly step down my anxiety medicine and I’m not sure how it go! I’m glad you’re getting back on it since you feel like you need it. I’m going to prep myself to do the same thing! I hope you are having a wonderful week!

  3. Indie? Indianapolis? I live in Indiana, about 2 hours from Indianapolis. I loved Grey’s, I had watched that for years. Have a fantastic week, Michelle.

  4. I’m sure you love your daughter’s cheering team but I would get tired (exhausted) with all the traveling. Well maybe not if I were younger. I went a lot when younger. Really it might just be the whole COVID thing which makes me anxious about traveling and I do enjoy being home where everything is set up the way we like. Plus I seem to end up behind at home after traveling. It’s great you can go I could never have gotten the time off work.
